Product is good, covers nice and no harsh smell

I like this topsoil as it has less woody pieces than the others and it doesn't smell as bad. Too bad everyone is raising prices for spring!

Easy to spread and mix into my existing heavy clay soil. Made for easy planting of my garden. Also used with grass seed mix for sports on lawn - so far so good.

I have used this product for a number of years with complete satisfaction

I used it to plant grass seed. Seeds have sprouted after 6 days and the lawn is pretty. Will use in the future instead of the brand I bought previously.

This stuff has all sorts of post consumer herbicides and trash in it. Killed most everything I topped it with, or wilted it. Organic? Really want to like the product, but sorting out the good from the bad in a city composting system is problematic. Kellogs knows this, and some batches and plants produce better material than others. It is a crapshoot with bad odds for the buyer. I would like to see a lab test that shows levels of herbicides and plastics. After I found a piece of ball point pen, I gave up all hope for this material.

The topsoil conditioned the siol and appeared to initiate grass growth.

Great product, my grass is growing like crazy

I used it to start a wildflower patch. They are not sprouting as fast as I thought they would - but they are sprouting.
