It's a carbon monoxide detector. Between buying it, having it shipped, then constant begging for reviews, I got 8 emails. Accept that reviews happen when there is an issue and stop constantly irritating your customers with unnecessary emails.

Easy to install with a stick pin pushed into the wall. Plug cord is long allowing for easy distant access to plug in power. They say replace about every 7 years... comes with best location suggestions.

These do not last the 5-7 years as they advertise. The most I get out of them is 3 years. The last one I had only last just over a year. And now they are even more expensive than they have been. However, for piece of mind I keep buying them, just don’t expect them to last the 5-7 years.

So Far, So Good. Have not had it long enough to give an informed summary. It was easy to install and I really like that the number is always lit and large enough to be seen from across the room.

Getting to the backup battery compartment was difficult but otherwise the detector was easy to install. Happy to say that I can’t tell how well it detects these situations as we haven’t had any!

This item is our 3rd one so I knew all about it. This new unit performs very well as did the prior two. This item serves as a great addition to a central alarm system since it detects exploding gas. It also serves as a backup audible alarm should the central system fail. A very reliable and efficient alarm.

It's a replacement for the one I had.

I just bought this monitor so I am hoping it will do a good job monitoring for gas and carbon monoxide. Easy to use instructions. Very loud alarm which is good. Easy to read display. It can be plugged in, has a battery, and also a small pull out stand if you need to place on a shelf. So far so good.

Well, I installed the battery, plugged it in, and it lit up with a "0". I guess that means it works.

Good protection from gas leak or carbon monoxide. Last 5 to seven years. My 4th generation of these.

Very simple and easy to use. You can see if you have a problem immediately! Replaced all my monitors with this gas/co2.

So far so good. Works very well. It’s less than a month old, however, so let’s see. But their products are usually quite reliable.

As far as I know, there aren’t a lot of choices out there for these kinds of combo detectors. Seems well made. Still, the user interface is clunky, and not intuitive, and if the darn thing goes off at 2 o’clock in the morning, aside from getting out of the house, remember to take the crummy fine print instructions with you, since it’s probably going to be hard to sort out what hazard or failure mode the screaming box is trying to describe. You did save those instructions, right?
