Bought it to check parasitric draw on vehicles. Started testing with known good vehicles. When i zero the meter out it fluctuates 0-3 milliamps. Then i connect it to the negative bsttery cable and it goes 5-6 milliamps. This is no good for my needs. We all know most cars draw about 0.03amps if a theres a draw on a battery over 5 milliamps, it will drain the battery. This meter needs to be more acturate .

This unit is actually really nice. It does everything it's supposed to without issue. The only drawback is that after 5 minutes, it will beep at you, and another minute later it will just turn itself off, regardless of whether you are using it or not. And there is no way to turn this off. So, as geat as it is. I will be heading to harbor freight for their competitors unit that does shut off on its own. It could have been so great.

Needed a meter to read DC amps above 10a. This meter is working well for that purpose. Excellent price range for what it can do.

Doesn’t do DC Amperage. Was told it did by Home Depot employee. Works excellent on AC amperage. The rest of the features work very well. Easy to read screen.

It's not a Fluke but it does its job. The Noncontact voltage tester at the tip of the clamp is handy. Cannot speak of the durability but it functions as expected.

Meter works fine. the store however rates below average I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to unlock the meter so I can get it off the hook and buy it.

I am an air-conditioning refrigeration contractor of 30 years. This is, without a doubt, the worst meter I’ve ever owned. Nearly impossible to use in the sunlight. Even with the backlight on you can barely see the screen. If you do exclusively night work then you’ll probably be delighted. This meter is going in my garage as an absolute last resort spare. I would definitely not recommend this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Auto Off can be diabled by holding SEL then turn the function dial. And you can measure 100mA range by looping a cable and measure the loop to magnify the current signal. And yes. The display is dim under direct sunlight. But it looks great under shade. Remember it is a HVAC meter.

Nice meter, got one to backup my traditional meter. Rarely measure anything above 60A so it was perfect to keep in my mini-tool kit due to the medium-small size. I saw complaints about the probe tips being too short. The end caps come off to reveal the longer portion for regular use. The caps make it CAT III for hi voltage safety.

Works very well .. very affordable

This meter is very convenient if you also order the magnet for the back of it. The magnet with the strap is the good one. Klein doesn't list it as compatible, but it is.
