I have always wanted one of these in my tool kit. I makes troubleshooting a breeze. And, it puts Safety at a maximum. I do like the Infrared Thermometer function, as well.

Accurate in testing voltage and also useful for checking temperature

I have had this tester for a while now and its worked well but the NCV button stopped wkn. The IR button is fine. Just my luck.......

I love this NCVT. All I ever use is Klein Tools NCVT. This is my 2nd unfortunately because the cap broke where the batteries are held. When it hit the carpet as I was taking my boots off the top separated even though it was still screwed on it blew the top right off. Bit the bullet and bought another cause HD wouldn't adhere to warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this volt tester and thermometer maybe a year or two ago and hasn’t let me down. Always gives a proper reading for voltage or no voltage and the thermometer is accurate. I do HVAC work so the thermometer is a must have. Works great!

Very simple to use, very handy, I have heard the IR is not very precise for high end electrical programs but I have found it to be very good for all my uses. I have had the end (housing the battery) break on two units though.

I would recommend it as only a very basic meter. It does not have much accuracy as it does not have a floating decimal point. For example, if you are using it for DC applications, you need to be aware that you either get 12V or 13V. It does not display 12.6V. This detail was lacking in the product descriptions.

This non-contact tester makes finding hot wires a snap. I haven't used the infrared thermometer for anything besides checking Covid temps, but will use it to check the temp in the camp trailer brakes.

I use this for a quick evaluation to see if power is present and simple continuity test. If i need to get into the job more i use my multimeter. So based on the way i use it i would say its a good meter that is simple with a nice background light. Four stars because there is a delay sometimes when reading amount of voltage, its slight but still present.
