Garbage impossible to install

I purchased this product, watched the video three times, followed the directions, did my best and ended up calling a plumber to stop the leaks that I couldn't stop. Directions are misleading, did not address the seal replacement of an older toilet, and did not inform me that I didn't even have to go to the trouble of removing the tank and replacing the seal. The plumber told me all of that while he fixed what I couldn't.

Can’t yet comment on the quality of the product but I can certainly comment on the installation instructions and they are fantastically comprehensive and complete. Well done. Anyone who can follow instructions can install this correctly.

No issues with install…all straightforward, except it is NOT a COMPLETE repair kit. There is no flush lever! I have used kits in the past that always have a flush lever, this one did not.

This was the easiest valve assy. I have ever installed.

You did not carry the 5800 model replacement toilet kit that I needed. You only had the 2” kit, not the 3”.

Very easy to follow instructions, every part and piece you could need seems to be accounted for, parts seem to be of high quality, and installation took less than 1hr with basic tools that most would have.

Inlet valve assembly / float failed after about 1 month. Replaced with the previous type and water flow is fine.

Decent kit, 2 issues that I don’t like. 1. Rank bolts & nuts are not brass 2. Seal between tank & bowl is very soft, tank seems a bit loose/sloppy compared to original seal. Make sure you review the installation video before you start the installation.

Keeps running, terrible product

Heads up: this product requires a 7/16th-inch deep socket, not to be confused with the 1/2” deep socket that one uses for a FluidMaster rebuild kit. The Korky product is good, the directions clear, but understand the tool requirements before you leave the store. I needed an extra trip because, guess what: despite1/2” being the generally accepted nut size for a 5/16” bolt, the Korky bolts have a different thread pitch than others and a different nut size.

And Korky knows it. Mentioned in other reviews here and they acknowledge it themselves in the instructions. I understand that the tank can still be seated. I did that. Now my tank sits approx. 0.5-1.0" higher so the water line won't reach. Duh. After purchasing Korky's "one trip kit" I'm on my way back to the store to decide which headache I want: running a longer water line or replacing Korky's goofball gasket.
