I love this dryer, I’ve had it about a month! Clothes are dry within the allotted time for each setting (normal/towels etc). Love that the door opens 2 ways. There isn’t anything I don’t like about it! I haven’t needed to use the steam feature yet however I’m super excited that I have it!

Large loads; 2 different door open options
So far the dryer works pretty well. I’ve had a couple of loads that needed to be dried for a longer period but it could have to do with the selection. I do wish, since the machine is WiFi capable, that you could start the dryer from your phone/app. I was disappointed not to see that as an option. However, it does notify my phone when the load is complete. Very helpful!! The door is different in that you can open it 2 ways. It does not open flat from the top, as to create a laundry shoot. I usually use the flat door when folding, so this was a change. But it also opens to the side which is helpful to unload the finished laundry.

The dryer door is missing a spring and won’t stay open. I would like someone to contact me to fix it. I had to ask another delivery service person and they confirmed there is no door spring. You have to reopen the dryer door every time you are attempting to put wet clothes in it. It was not thoroughly checked after installation.

ZERO STARS NOT AN OPTION
When ordering dryer in store i was told to pay .01 cent charge for the door swing to be changed which i did. First delivery they hooked up the washer and i asked the delivery tech to change the swing of the door, (it seemed simple enough when i viewed the procedure on you tube). Well the technician dropped all the screws inside the dryer. The tech told the delivery service that the dryer was defective. Ten days later another dryer is delivered by techs that i was told are well versed in changing the swing of the door. They assured me it was a simple task and proceeded to dismantle the dryer on my patio in the drizzling rain, lets not forget i paid over 900 dollars for this appliance that is in pieces on my patio. I called home depot, they contacted the delivery company who contacted the technicians on my patio who claimed there was no issue, Long story short i was told i had to sign that i was refusing delivery, whelp i could not do that because they packed up and left without a word. Solid loss for HOME DEPOT AND LG. Train your techs or do not offer a service. Now i am waiting a call back for a third delivery, which means lost income and wasted time. Many regrets for this purchase that I have not had the opportunity to even use once.

Great Features

Has me feeling spoiled.
Have had for a couple weeks. Took a bit to understand how to adjust individual options but once understood it is very easy. Towels were definitely fluffier than with previous dryer (22 years old). Clothes come out dry but not over dried. Have more control over settings than previously on more standard drier. I love this drier and do feel a bit spoiled.

The dryer makes a very loud grinding noise. The installer told me it just needed to run a few cycles and it would stop. It didn’t. Then the LG repair guy couldn’t figure out why it was making the noise. And I can’t return it because of hope depots policy. Now I’m stuck with a very loud dryer.

Installation of power was done poorly. Unit shorted out tripping the circuit breaker. Some wires were burnt.

Do not waste your money!
I threw away a working dryer because I thought the steam dryer would dry with less wrinkling.
It does not help and wish I had not purchased.
