We moved into a new house and had to replace all of the appliances. We chose to go with LG units for everything. This dryer had to be converted to propane but the Service Tech did it in a matter of mins. The unit works well. It is quiet and efficient. We are still learning about some of the advanced features but are impressed so far.

Nicely Equipped & Reasonably Priced
We like the new Washer & Gas Dryer from LG. First-time LG appliance purchase except for a refrigerator existing in home we purchased (and that is workhorse). Design and style played a part (color, shape, ease-of-use) and thus far about 45 days in it is working very nicely. Quick cycle and load sensor are nice features.

Little things
Good purchase, wish washer door hinge side could be changed, washer is effective. Dryer delicate cycle almost drys clothes it is effective as well. Would recommend overall.

Poor design
This stupid dryer has ABSOLUTE WORST lint filter design. It's narrow+goes deep into narrow slot that isn't accessible for cleaning all extra lint gathering there. Just spent 10 minutes using 10 inch tweezers to try get some of it out. I have 3 cats, but also design of the dryer fins are extreme, too big + sharp compared to prior dryer, they wear + tear on clothes way more. Which means more fabric breakdown and more lint. Can't even run a cycle, have to empty filter every 20 min. IT'S RIDICULOUS

Good dryer
I’ve had LG dryers in the past and have been pleased with their quality. Although I have only had this one for a few months, I am pleased with its quality and functions. I like the ease of setting my own times and temperatures. And the ease of loading and unloading because of the added height with the pedestal is great!

Overall satisfied but disappointed that the setting must be at “very dry” otherwise the clothes will still be damp. Even on the very dry setting the clothes are sometimes still damp and then the setting has to be changed to manual dry to completely dry the clothes.

Still unhappy with the gap on the dryer door.

VERY NICE

I would give this washer a five star review if...
I would give this washer a five star review if it had a hand wash or very gentle cycle and an interior light to facilitate unloading as I had with my old washer. The control panel with its black background can be hard to read in low light areas. Otherwise in the month I’ve been using it I’ve had no problems and like the versatility of the cycles on offer.

Dryer, everything is nice and fluffy when he gets out more efficient in my prior dryer. Very efficient and drying items, no touchups. I must have for a big family.

Gas dryer is much better appliance than the washer
The gas dryer is so much better than the washer it's paired with. Steam feature is nice. Interface with the LG app is excellent although it was difficult to connect it to WiFi (unlike the washer). Set times are a bit long and can over-dry.
I do worry about cleaning the lint trap. The location of flaps prevent seeing underneath them. Hope that long term it will not result in unseen lint being trapped.
Delivery and installation was a nightmare. Won't buy any more appliances from Home Depot.
