[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ac blow ice cold and the heater doesn't blow hot, after inspection I noticed the ac compressor is not turning off when the heat is on and it's staying on even after you turn the unit off. Only way to get the ac compressor to turn off is to cut off the power to it by either unplugging it or tripping the button on the plug. LW8021HRSM This is my model number. The unit is clean and not stopped up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product for a small efficiency rental unit. It is working perfectly and my tenant could not be happier. It is also energy efficient and cost saving.

I haven't been able to test the ac part. But the heat part doesn't seem to put out as it should to be a 3850btu heater.

Owners manual is useless for setting up wifi. It makes it seem like it will indicate your wifi connection before proceeding. You have to download the app, and it walks you through the process (i.e. you have to press and hold 2 buttons at the same time to turn on the wifi). I think it's maybe the "mode" and "fan speed" buttons?? I'm not done insulating my 16x20 shed, so I can only verify the unit operates as designed at this point. After insulation and running it on a 100 degree day or a 30 degree day I will be able to tell how well it works....

Has been working well as a heater and AC. This was put in at the turn of the seasons, so we got to use it as both an AC unit and heater. It is installed in a master bedroom and has been keeping it a constant 67 degrees with the outside temps have dropped into the high 30's. I like that you install the shell into the window and then the AC unit slides into the already mounted and leveled case. That way you are not struggling with a heavy unit and open window at the same time. I already have other appliances that use the ThinQ app, so adding the AC unit into ThinQ was easy.

Excellent unit. It works very well for my 240sf room.

It states there is a remote control but no remote control was included.. we look desperately for the remote control.

The unit worked for 9 months then started blowing the breaker thats on the cord. I requested repairs, waited 7 days, and no response to schedule a repair. I contacted the company through an hour of chat and they eventually said they would just refund my money rather than fix it. Its been a couple weeks and no response or refund. I called and they just keep saying its pending.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. The only problem was I didn’t have the side curtains with it but customer service was able to make sure I got them. Other than being VERY heavy I am very happy with my purchase.

This window unit blows very cold air and is easy to install as everything but a support stand is included.

I just bought the third unit like this from LG. All have been great. An excellent value and a compact size. The first one that I bought lasted about 6 - 7 years until debris punctured the coolant line. Was still running fine prior to incident. I decided to go ahead and replace. I did not hesitate to buy the same model. I had that one in my art studio which is 300 sf with a 10 foot ceiling. No matter how hot or cold it got I was comfortable.

A few weeks ago my HVAC unit went down hard. With supply side issues being what they are it was difficult to find the motherboard and motor to get it back up again. This occurred this past August when daily temperatures where I live in Florida were averaging 95F every day. I went out and bought this window AC unit for my bedroom and it literally and figuratively saved me from heat exhaustion. It took 8 days for my AC service to find the parts so the purchase of the unit was money well spent. As a plus factor I can subsequently use it with my home generator during the next inevitable hurricane hit in my area

This works great for our small space. It keeps it at the temp it’s set at. We have not had to use the heat yet.

I was looking into smart ACs for a workshop. Installation was a bit of a pain because I installed where a window was pulled from and it took creative carpentry to get it mounted right. It is a little louder than I would like, but quiet for a window unit. It cools well. My one complaint is the app. It only has on or off scheduling. It would be a huge improvement to allow temperature changes in the schedule. I almost gave only 4 stars because of this limitation.

So far very happy. Loved the installation feature where you remove the housing to mount then insert the unit. If 9t years like I need this winter it will be perfect

So far my expectations are being met. Hopefully the air conditioner will last for the time it is suppose to.

I bought this unit to be used in my 8 by 10 tuff shed was told this was more then enough unit The only way it keeps you kool is if you stand directly in front of it

We were replacing an ac to add heat and cooling to an area. The unit works well. I gave it a 4 stars because the unit serial number is on the side of the unit and no where else. So I haven’t been able to register it. We needed it installed the evening we bought and didn’t see the number.
