[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in December. As with all the washers I researched, I was spooked by some less favorable reviews. So glad I went with the Consumer Reports recommendation and all the thrilled reviewers. Machine is easy to use, and works well and quickly. Sometimes it does not dry clothes as much as I would like before shutting off. But very easy to set it for an additional 15-20 mins of dry time.

Your "Example" said it all. We are happy with our choice. This is the 3rd dryer i've purchased for my family. My daughter and step daughter have had no problems over the years with LG washers and dryers.

I bought this a year ago in paired set. They replaced a Maytag front loader pair. Drying something as simple as a set of sheets always requires the material be rearrangrd and run again. It tumbles everything into a ball and the core will still be damp. No more LG products for. These are staying with my house when I sell it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought that a dryer could make my life easier, until now. My dryer is in a small space and it is very convenient to open the door from the top or the side depending on what happens to be in the room. The turbo steam feature has reduced the need to iron some of my clothes, which frees up my time to do better things, Wifi on the dryer lets me know when a load is done and helps me select settings. I can also start it if my clothes are not done yet. The dryer is very quiet and I cannot hear it above my TV. I never expected a dryer to be so feature-rich and make life easier for me. LG has done that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer performs as advertised. We have yet to use the steam feature and may never actually do so. Otherwise, very easy to use, a real workhorse. The top-opening extra latch for the door is very helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned this dryer for a couple of months and it's proven to be a quiet, efficient machine. It took a bit of getting used to -- more controls and features than our previous dryer -- but once we caught on, operations smoothed out.

My LG dryer sounds like it is 10 years old and the bearings on the tub clatter the entire cycle. The sensor for dryness isn’t correctly calibrated and the Wi-Fi setup process requires my level of IT experience. After wonderful experiences with LG kitchen appliances, this is a disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this product since Jan 6th, it took two weeks to and much back and forth with customer service to discovery that my dryer kept throwing an error. It would start and stop and customer service was hard to contact and quite rude. To be clear, my rating is only on the dryer, not customer services, if that was the case I would give this zero. However, the this is my 3rd LG dryer. The quality isn't the same. This one is much louder than my last two units. I purchased the exact same unit that I have in my other home and it's louder and doesn't dry as well. Items still come out damp, the sensor doesn't seem to be working properly and my towels come out covered in lint over the last 3 washes. Side note - the washer is much better and would rate it 5 stars because it washes well even though it has gotten much louder as well. My laundry room is on the bedroom level so this does mean a lot to our house hold, for late night/last minute school items.

We have been using the dryer for a month and are still learning all the best settings for different types of clothes. I think LG should have a video showing all the settings and best uses to help the learning process. We have made a few settings errors due to lack of training material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the older model of this dryer 9 years ago and just loved all of the features and functions that when I left the old set in a house I just sold and moved into a new house I bought this newer model of the same dryer. This newer model has all of the same features as my older one plus some great additional features such as the steamfresh setting which is great for getting out wrinkles, the dryer vent clogging alert so you know when or if lint has built up in the venting and can clean that before there's a fire, additional clothing types for drying and this one has the awesome two function dryer door that my other one didn't which is great when tossing clothes from the washer to the dryer. You won't be disappointed in this dryer, it's a great value for the money.
