This tiller is a hoss of a machine, compared to other tillers I’ve had or used. The weigh distribution is well balanced making it easy to handle. The adjustable forks allow you to walk aside without disturbing the fresh plowed ground with your feet. I was able to pull it from the metal crate alone with a pulley. Placed tires and depth bar first to stabilize the tiller while finishing the final details. All went smoothly and excited to start my garden. Love the larger wheels for more stability.

I would give this machine a 5 but not being able to move the unit without starting it is not good. The drive clutch should release for ease of moving without the engine running. It did do a great job handling a bit over 5400 sq. Ft of soil. Multiple beds.

5 Stars I can’t say enough good things about the power of this LEGENDFORCE / 20in 212cc Gas Powered Tiller. This machine is built strong and heavy which makes tilling up hard ground a breeze. It takes about 1 hour to assemble and also requires 4 quarts of transmission fluid (not included in box). It started on the first pull and tilled up the hard ground in no time. The combination of gears allows you to adjust as needed on the fly and allows you to gear down when you need to break through hard never before tilled ground. The forward / reverse feature also came in very handy. Highly recommend this heavy duty tiller.

I am a 60 year woman starting a Flower farm in So. California on dry compact soil. I purchased the Legend Force 20 1n. 212 cc Rear Tine Self-Propelled Tiller with Forward/Reverse. I was a little intimidated at first as this is a big tiller! I put it together with a little help from a teen age girl. I was surprised how easy it was to use overall. I felt it was a Heavy Duty Machine at a Great Price! I like the fact that you can move the handles from side to side. This tiller has a combination of speeds allowing you to adjust as you need. I did have a problem with tube in one of the tires that came in damaged. Home depot had no problem replacing it right away. I tilled the area in no time ready for fall planting. Highly recommend this tiller to get the job done in a hurry.

I purchased the LEGENDFORCE / 20in 212 cc Gas Powered Tiller to prep my new garden area. This rear tine tiller worked so much better than my front tine tiller I have used in the past. I ordered this to be picked up in store and was happy to find when I picked it up the store had already put it together. It did come with oil but I did not realize until I got home that I needed transmission fluid also. The LEGENDFORCE / 20in 212 cc Gas Powered Tiller was easy to start once all the fluids had been filled. This tiller has several different depths that you can use to till your ground and I found simple to adjust. It also has reverse and I could easily maneuver forward and back. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and look forward to harvesting from my new garden.

''JUST STARTED PREPARING SOIL FOR GARDENING'' My family and I have decided to start a small garden and purchased The LEGENDFORCE /20IN 212 cc GAS POWERED TILLER in hopes that this would make the project easier. Our southern Arziona soil is very dry and hard, not to mention the temperature right now is extremely hot. So far this is an AWSOME PRODUCT compared to just using a shovel and a hoe, the tiller goes thru the hard ground very easy and smoothly penetrating into the ground quickly with one pass over the ground, covering a good size area in a very short time. Did exactly what we wanted, to make the project easier and it was fun to use. Its almost like using a lawn mower but felt safer and has these super stable self propelled agricultural pneumatic tires, that make it move smoothly with no effort thru the hard soil. I really enjoyed using this Tiller and would definitely recommend this product for its ease of use and how quick it does the job. Great purchase!

SOLID TILLER-- My Legend Force tiller is well made and a very solid piece of equipment. You are going to need two people to get it out of the metal frame that it is bolted into for shipping. I wish the top of the frame had been bolted on instead of welded so that it would have been easier to get it out. Once it is out of the shipping frame, it goes together pretty quickly. It comes with a quart of engine oil but you need to buy 4 quarts of SAE85W-140/90W-140 and obviously gas. Finding neutral was a little challenging for me but once I figured out the controls It was good. I was very pleased with how quiet it was when running! I also like how clear the instructions are laid out for the recommended maintenance in the instruction booklet. The Legend Force makes quick work of garden prep. The tiller is a must have well constructed tiller and should last a long time

Not for the novice, but this Legendforce 20 inch tiller is definitely a keeper. I ordered mine online and it arrived in a secure metal frame and was easy to assemble. It's convenient to use with the on/off, fuel gauge, choke, ports for gas and oil in easy to access locations. The forward and reverse levers are easy to use and are made of metal, not plastic and the handles can easily be adjusted for different size users. This tiller has three depth settings. When set at the medium depth it performs well at a comfortable speed and makes tilling easy. At the high setting it barely touches the soil. At the low setting the tiller lunges forward and takes a little more work to control. Overall, after a brief learning period I'm super happy with my Legendforce Tiller and am on my way to tilling a new larger garden spot

I just want of start out by telling you a little about my family. We moved into our first home almost 3 years ago. Last year we started our first garden. We were not going to till the garden last year as I was going to do a style of garden that you leave everything in the garden for the nutrients over the winter. I did that and fast forward to this year the plot was over grown with weeds and really needed to turn the soil. This is when I decided to purchase the LEGENDFORCE 20in 212 cc Gas Powered Tiller. It was not the easiest to get out of the package, it was bolted into a metal frame. The bolts came out really easy. Once the body was out of the frame it was pretty easy to put together myself with a few simple tools. Once I got it started up it did a good job. It was a little fast for me and kind of felt like I was chasing it but for my husband it was easy to control and maneuver. It was pretty easy to get our little garden tilled. I feel it was worth the price, it made short work of my garden. When we take our pool down we are going to till up all the area under it to try to level out the ground. The LEGENDFORCE 20in 212 cc Gas Powered Tiller was a great buy and I would recommend it to all of my friends if they were looking for a tiller.

Purchased the tiller to till up garden in yard. I had to have help putting it together (no instructions in box) we had to look at box to assemble. The box had oil in it but it also called for transmission fluid which I had to go and purchase. After the tiller was assembled it is sturdy and fairly easy to use, even for women. The option of different speed is a Plus. I recommend the Legendforce tiller to assist you with your next outdoor garden or flower bed. It makes your outdoor tilling a lot easier.

Strong Performer! Value-priced Gas-Powered, Rear Tine Garden Tiller. Easy to operate, self-propelled, powerful machine. I recently assembled and operated the Legend Force 20-Inch 212-cc Gas-Powered, Rear Tine Garden Tiller. At 110lb, it’s best to have a partner during unpacking and assembly. The chassis and components are secured in a metal frame, with the cardboard box around it. The Instructions are well-written and easy to follow. All the components bolt together with metric-sized hardware and cotter pins with rings and hitch pins. The machine is shipped completely dry of Motor Oil, Transmission Oil, and Gasoline. (The manufacturer does send a small bottle of 10W30 Motor Oil.) The entire assembly took 1 hour. Once assembled, the Tiller is quite sturdy. It has a 212-cc Single cylinder, 4-stroke, OHV Ducar engine. I put the engine cut-off switch to “on”, set the choke, gave it one pull, and the motor came to life. The engine then idled very well. Operation is pretty simple. There are two Directional Levers on the Handlebar. The Left-handle Lever is for Reverse and the Right-handle Lever is for Forward. The Levers have a thumb-latch safety, so the user cannot accidentally engage the Tines or the Self-propelled feature. Safely hidden behind the foot guard, the Rear Tines spin at a constant speed and produce good force. Note how the Self-propelled feature works: It is fully manual and requires the user to physically move the wheels from a locked to unlocked position, along the drive axle. When the Forward or Reverse Levers are engaged, the Drive Shaft and Tines spin in the given direction. There is zero-lag or power loss going to the Rear Tines. The Tine speed and the Wheel rotation speed are well-matched and make it easy to control. I easily maneuvered in forward and reverse. Overall, I am very happy with this product. With some basic maintenance, proper care/cleaning, and proper storage, this machine should last a very long time.

Gardener? Yes I Am! I had to make my planting, seeding and weeding experience easier! The LEGEND FORCE Tiller was fast and broke my lumpy hard ground of clay, grass and soil into easy loose broken-up dirt. I planted grass seed and a garden! This tiller made my life easier. Such a Great Value! Fast, easy to use and would Highly Recommend!

The LegendForce 20 inch 212 cc is a heavy duty machine. Along as you follow instructions, this machine does the job. The machine is heavy and required 2 parties to lift the main component out of a metal crate. The assembly was fast and directions were easy to follow. The machine came with engine oil enough to fill however the exact opposite was true for the transmission fluid. Instruction said it came pre-filled with correct amount, but transmission cap was marked it was empty. Machine graciously took 4 quarts after stopping at several stores before finding the right velocity rating. The only way to move the machine was to engage the tillers which can be a hazard. Shifting between gears was slightly difficult since the shifter and indicator did not match. So gear 1 was actually neutral. After taking my time to till, I was able to get one of many projects completed.

Have always wanted to have a garden, and finally become a home owner with a large backyard which meant it was time to purchase a tiller. The LEGENDFORCE 20in 212cc Tiller was easy to put together, powerful but still was easy to maneuver with a forward/reverse self propelled feature, it worked to complete the job quickly and turns compacted soil into fine ready to plant garden. Would recommend this tiller for a garden or larger projects. Very efficient tiller!

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use the Legendforce 20in 212cc Gas-Powered Forward/Reverse Rear Tine Tiller. I was intimated at first. I am a woman in my mid 50s and was able to put the tiller together and was able to till part of my backyard for a garden by myself. I loved having the ability to easily switch from moving forward and reversing. It was easy to maneuver and easy to start. It is a very solid and sturdy tiller it really tilled our clay base dirt well. I would recommend this tiller it is easy to use and very powerful piece of equipment for the price.

It works good, but one wheel was damaged

It's been so wet lately, we haven't been able to use it like we want to, ( like tilling up a garden).

When we used it the first time the handle broke off. Looks like manufacturing defect. Called company and they sent a replacement as soon as they could. Then used it. The reverse till states that it doesn't throw dirt on engine. It does and alot of it. Caused the governor to stick wide open. Husband cleaned it and it worked fine. So far it's doing the job we needed it to do. Takes some practice to maneuver. We have had it about a month but haven't used it much as it's been raining. Shifter lever is bit stiff. Do like the adjustable handle. Overall pretty good product. Because of forward dirt throwing on engine probably wouldn't buy again.

It does a great job, but would be better if the self propelled was able to be slowed down, it will keep it moving until it stalls out in hard ground.

New in store had visible rust, we bought it anyway. It cranked right up then failed as the draw cord was locked and only extended about 6 inches. We returned the day after purchase for full credit. The store complied without incident and did not offer an alternate sokution.We purchased elsewhere.

Machine broke after not even a week of use

The setup of the tiller by Home Depot was not done very well. The handle bars were not tightened down and would have caused problems if I hadn’t caught that before using it. The worst part of the set up was the valve stem was not aligned very well with the hole in the wheel and after less than 10 minutes of use the wheel cut through the valve stem. The tire went flat and I had to get a replacement tube. Very disappointing… As far as how well it worked, it did a good job. Started 1st pull, tilled well on soil that I had previously ripped with shanks on my tractors box blade..

This Rototiller is a pretty good machine for my not so big garden, works well and I like the back up feature, or reverse. Would like to point out that I picked up my unit that was already put together and on display, when I got it home it was scratched and dinged up, with some rust on it. So I called the store back, the Manager (Megan) answered and let me know that if I wanted to have it delivered, one in a box it wouldn't be till Friday, it was Wednesday, I said ok. She said the delivery driver would call in the morning before he left to give me an idea what time he would be there. On Friday morning I got no call, so I waited till 12:00 pm, then I called them, the gentleman at the service desk said he did not see anything on the schedule and if I didn't have an order number there was nothing he could do. He asked couple more questions then said he'd have Megan call me back. 4:30 pm no call back so I called again this time Alea Answered, she took some info and said "I will get this to you today if I have to deliver it myself, let me call you back in about an hour after I check on some info" 45 min Later she called back and said "I'm bringing you one in a box and we will pickup the one you have" 20 Mins later here she came with Ivan to help her, they were great we unloaded the boxed one and loaded the one I had, you need a couple more Alea's at that store, she was great, her and Ivan. Thank you guys, great Customer service on their part.

Easy to start. Good product.

we were surprised that we had to put it together but other than that it has worked well and who I spoke with on the phone was very helpful.

Tiller was packaged in a manner I have never seen before - there was a frame inside the box of welded angle iron that was reinforced in several places and the tiller motor/body was bolted to this frame. I am very impressed with this packaging. It was difficult to lift the tiller out of this frame as the body was very unwieldly/heavy and the angle iron had quite sharp edges; definitely takes more than one person. Assembly instructions were better than average. Unit started after just a couple pulls. After using a few times it starts with 1 pull. Both the wheel and tine gear levers shift with a great deal of difficulty and I have barked my hands several times shifting (it has become SLIGHTLY better after using). The levers also do not line up with the markings on the bar, making it difficult at times to know what is selected. Tiller is VERY powerful in my opinion and requires a lot of muscle to control at times. Probably should not allow a younger or smaller person operate. Unit cannot be free-wheeled, the motor must be running and you have to use it to move around (won't turn on a dime either) - this is a big negative for me. Unit is built with very heavy gauge steel and iron and appears to be extremely sturdy. I have run through my garden 4 times so far; it has done an excellent job tearing up sod and breaking the dirt up (it has been damp here, I haven't tried on hard, dry soil). I think, in spite of the negatives I have mentioned, that this is an excellent value for the money and I am overall, very, very pleased.
