I purchased this to replace the original outlet in the Midwest 30amp RV box that I had previously purchased from Home Depot a few years back. The original outlet had developed a crack. This outlet was supposed to be a direct replacement, however it would not fit into the Midwest box's mounting plate, as the rear side is not a 'Y' shape, but rather a distorted 'L' shape, so it would not fit through the mounting hole. I had to resort to obtaining the 'Y' shaped outlet from another source.

Receptacle worked as advertised. The connection was good and the design kept the conductors well away from each other.

First one failed after 4years service.

I install a lot of these leviton outlets, they are perfect for small travel trailers. They provide 120 volts at 30 amps for trailers up to 30 feet in length. This is a high quality outlet that should provide you many years of service.

Worked in a single gang box that I was replacing a diff 3 prong outlet this one has metal sides(left&right) that extend about 1/8 inch. Had to trim little bit of sheetrock as old one was flat metal piece. Will work good.

30 amp plug easy to install

The receptacle fits fine into the box. Quality was good for the part, no issues with installation or operation.
