Motion detection works great. I have a pretty big step down into my garage that now is illuminated when opening the door from the house. Notifies guests of the hazard without trying to feel around for a light switch. Would 5 star but buttons feel a little cheap, but for the money, definitely worth it.

Installed in my garage after the overhead lights in the garage door opener failed. I did not change the program settings, it has been about a week and so far it works great.

It was easy to install, however, settling up the light sensor is a challenge.

It's great, works great, good value, so 4/5 right there. Here are my two complaints: first, the cover over the sensor is soft and a little bendy, so it can feel cheap and also a little like a button. Second, there is a light on the sensor when the lights are OUT, which means the light switch has a soft glow when I want the room to be pitch dark.

Pricey, but it works well. Be sure it is grounded or it won’t work.

The outside packaging should inform the buyer that a ground in necessary for operation of the switch. The current switch I’m replacing is only two wire. I will be returning the product,
