I was looking for smart switch which doesn’t require neutral wire. I have two room with two exact led ceiling lights in each room, one had ghosting problem and other had momentary flash before start. Switched both switches but still same result. I was hopping for success to wire up entire home slowly. Now I have to return it. I read some people had success by wiring capacitor across but I dont want to take chance with homemade idea which can become fire hazard.

Pretty cool how all this works. Google assisted is convenient to have. I had many things that already worked with google and now have quite a bit of devices and rooms set up. I like these switches, because you can set schedules for them to turn off or on or both.

Easy installation and configurations. Only wish is the main dimmer switch could be set to come on at a preset dimmed level like it works with the remote. They have a new switch out that allows this but it’s 4 times the cost. It would be a 5 star review if it had this functionality

I think this is a great product. I also think Lutron has GREAT support. I ran into a little issue that was due to the LED bulbs I had. Support was able to guide me to bulbs that do work.

These switches work great and I am a big fan of how great they are, so I began switching my whole house over to this system. My house is 3000 square feet and has a lot of 2 and 3 way switches all over the place. For every single one of those switches you need a switch, or a Pico remote. Also, lamps require a lamp control, fans their own etc. THE PROBLEM - Lutron has decided to implement an arbitrary limit to the system of 50 devices. Now that might seem like a lot, and perhaps for a small house you won't hit it. But COUNT BEFORE YOU BUY! They put this limit in supposedly to protect their electrician integrators (to make you buy a more expensive, non commercially available system that doesn't have the 50 device limit). This is moronic and not the way the Internet of things is heading in general. People/products are moving more and more towards zero cost installs. Lutron hasn't realized this. For this reason, I cannot recommend this product any longer for houses that might hit this 50 device limit. Easy to install works great good product have it connected to Alexa able to turn lights on and off with voice!

The only solution for older homes without a neutral wire. Without this you'd have to rewire your house.

So convenient and cool! Works very well with most light bulbs except 2inch led recess lights which won’t deem ver low. Otherwise, very good on other light bulbs.

The Caseta dimmers are the best quality dimmer switch I have used for lighting control, and every feature I could want in a dimmer is packed into this unit. The wall control features green LED lights along the left edge to let you know the status of the dimmer at all times, and I appreciate that they are not so bright as to disturb sleep or comfort. Top and bottom buttons work as on/off, and two buttons in the middle are to brighten/dim. The remote control works the exact same way, except it has an extra circular button in the dead center which allows you to actually save your favorite lighting level. This comes in very handy if you want to dim the lights before bed for better relaxation, or if you need to get up in the middle of the night but don't desire full brightness. This dimmer works with my LED bulbs which is a big plus. The hub makes it very convenient to control the lighting according to your exact tastes. I look forward to installing more of these around the house.

Excellent range--far more than advertised. I can get up to 80' and that's through a couple of walls (wood, drywall, stucco).

I thought it would be a little challenging to swap out a couple 3 way switches with these Lutron Caseta wireless dimmers.I watched the how-to video and I’m not sure if they could have made it any easier.I completed the project in half the time I estimated.

Replacing the switch was super easy. Downloaded the app and we were all set. It's nice being able to adjust lights without having to get up from a comfy spot.

Purchased this mainly because my 1950's wiring (which is safe, but lacks both a Neutral & a ground) is a PITA when it comes to smart switches/devices. The Lutron Caseta works incredibly well and has saved me from having to do any extensive rewiring normally required for smart devices in my home !

I love the caseta products. This kit is no exception. This kit solved a long standing problem in my kitchen. Half of the kitchen lights are on a switch on one side of our L shaped kitchen. The other half of the lights are on a switch on the other side. This has never been convenient, but opening up the ceiling and running new wires was too much work. We were able to solve this problem in just a few minutes with this kit. I replaced both existing switches with the caseta switches. Then I Installed the pico remotes right next to them (I did need the pico mounting bracket and a duplex wall plate). I programmed each pico remote to operate both switches, effectively making them 3 way switches. Now we can turn on/off half of the lights or both lights. Super easy. The hub is great, too. We have a google home mini in the kitchen, so most of the time we operate the lights by voice command. We have two other caseta light switches, so it is nice to be able to operate them by voice command. Lutron's caseta app is very easy to use. The scenes are nice for quickly setting all of the lights the way we want. I also like the option for the app to randomly turn lights on and off when we are gone. My little one is not good a turning off her lights. I can set a schedule for all of the lights in the house to turn off at a certain time. If this then that is supported, too. We have not used it, but it is there if we need it. The only feature that I would like, and these switches lack, is the ability to set a timer or occupancy sensor. A timer is not supported (hopefully in the future). You can use a motion sensor with these, but then the switches will only communicate with the motion sensor. They will not work with the pico remotes or with the internet hub. Bummer. Maybe this is necessary to provide rock solid connections, and they are rock solid. Every press of the pico has worked. The app has worked every time.
