Missing a Washer
Good product for the price, and the magnet part works excellent. However, it was missing the washer that goes from the hose to the handheld part. I installed it without the washer, but it leaked. I stead of going BACK to the store, I removed the washer from the old hose and put it in the new one. BUYER BEWARE. It's a good shower head for the money, but before you leave the store, make sure it has 3 washers.

Plastic around 60 inch flexible metal hose ripped
Literally just installed and when bringing hand Shower off magnetic strep, the black plastic around the hose popped/ripped. I almost thought it was some kind of tape over it, but it shows right through to the metal hose.

The unit itself is very good, however, in the literature it states that anyone with a pacemaker or other metals in their body should not use a magnetic shower head. Didn't take notice until after it was installed... have to remove the unit & return it.

Cheap
I've been using this handheld shower for only two months and the hose busted. At this price point, I would have expected better components. Moen, can you respond? I also got an additional magnetix for the wall, so I e invested a bit of money in moens magnetic shower head. Please don't make me regret it.

Hose broke after two months of using
Moen, do you have a warranty on the entire product? The hose broke (the plastic ripped) when I was showering today and the entire showerhead came off. It lasted maybe 50 showers which is very disappointing.

Magnetic cradle/dock broke
Was in the middle of a shower when the cradle/dock for this showerhead fell off the shower arm pipe. Sprayed water everywhere which wasn't a huge issue since the shower is enclosed. Upon inspection, found several cracks in the cradle's plastic female connector causing it to lose its hold on the shower arm. Some googling revealed that this is a common issue (cradle part # 179700; the average review on part 179700BL is one star). No idea why they would make this part out of plastic. Purchased and installed the shower head ~2 years ago.

5 stars for the showerhead, 0 for the hose
I previously owned this same showerhead in chrome, so i mistakenly assumed that the hose on this one would also be metal. Nope. It’s plastic and total garbage. It doesn’t lay well and consequently makes the showerhead come off the magnetic attachment when it’s turned on. I know I can purchase a replacement metal hose, but for the price, I expected a higher quality hose with this product.

Garbage! Cheap plastic cracks and falls off stem.
twice I purchased this same model because I like the magnetic attachment.
It makes it easy to grab and replace, even with soap in your eyes, without looking.
The soft gray plastic threaded attachment part is low quality, and breaks every time, after a few months, as we adjust the angle of the spray head, the cracks quickly develop and don’t stop until the unit basically falls off the wall.
We had to put plastic zip ties on the last two units, just to buy a little more time.

Not impressed
I bought this yesterday so here are my initial thoughts. The shower head is plastic so hopefully it will stand the test of time. The hose seems to be made of the same plastic even though the package says it’s metal. This replaced a low flow high pressure shower head and this one may be low flow but the pressure was meh on all 6 settings -3 of which seemed extremely similar so a 4 setting would do the same thing. It doesn’t work any better than my $30 one but the shower ceiling is low and I need one with a magnet so we shall see how well the magnet holds

Cracked after only 5 months
I had a bathroom remodel completed mid December which was when this was installed. It is beautiful and have enjoyed the differed settings. However tonight as I was showering water started spraying from the top and when I turned off the water and took a look I saw that it was cracked and can not be rigged or tightened until I can get it replaced. Unfortunately I may have not purchased this had I read the reviews before hand. It seems as though quite a few people have had this same issue.

Great until it breaks!
Bought this one when I moved my grandmother in because we needed something that was easy to use and we only purchased it in January fast forward to 2 1/2 months later and trying to take a shower the neck splits and it sprayed sideways instead of through the shower portion because it’s made of plastic it’s more susceptible of cracking. Directions were followed, did everything that you’re supposed to do and it only lasted less than three months.

Poor hose design - embarrassed to install it
Model # 26000BL from Moen
I did not install the product on the shower arm. I assembled it and my wife and I had a good laugh.
Moen engineering team: Look at the picture. Any thoughts on your poor hose design?

The worst!
The matte black shower head is the WORST! I bought it for a bathroom remodel. The hose is plastic and doesn't hang correctly. It looks silly in my glass shower. The magnet isn't very strong, so if the head isn't perfectly centered, it will fall off (and spray water everywhere!). Finally, maybe we just needed a longer arm, but with our 8-inch arm, the hose sticks out of the head and hits the wall at an odd angle, so the angle of the spray is basically horizontal. Hate it!

Pretty good; 1 or 2 flaws
Looks great and magnet holds well, but the attachment part is grey plastic. Only comes dulls grey and bronze. Also, this is a Watersense and unsatisfactory for the amount of water that comes out.

As I see in at least 1 other review here, it broke at the connection for the magnetic part. Seems the weakest point on the unit.

Hard Pass
This is made of all cheap plastic. The plastic connector cracked after a few months of use. Noticed a change in water pressure and the tub faucet sputtering. Noticed the twist connector on the magnetix had cracked. The whole piece split when removing it. The replacement part is just as much as purchasing a whole new shower head. Hard Pass on this product.

Hose burst
We have two of these in the house. Tonight my son went to take a shower and I heard loud bang when the water turned on. The flexible metal hose had pulled away from the handle and the rubber hose burst. I like the magnet and flow but they don’t seem to last. In use about a year. Hope the other one holds up.

Great versatility!

Worked for 2 years then formed a crack and broke
For the 2 years that I owned this product it has worked perfectly. Only problem I have with it is that threaded part that attaches to the shower pipe is plastic, which degrades over time.
Around 6 months ago I noticed that a leak was coming out of the top of the shower head, I didn't think much about it, unfortunately yesterday I woke up to a loud bang as the showered fell off the pipe. Apparently a crack formed on the threads and it got so big that the shower head's weight was enough to pull its self down.
Beyond that, it was a good purchase, it was really good at cleaning locations a regular static shower head couldn't reach.
It would be 5 stars if it didn't last only 2 years.

Broke After Eight Months, Terrible Service
I decided to upgrade a Moen showerhead with another due to positive experiences. I bought this on November 13, 2021. A couple days ago, the head slipped from the base and fell. This has happened before without issue. This time water started spurting out of the metal water pipe and I saw that the plastic part of the Magnetix base was cracked. I contacted Moen and after waiting 2 hours for a call back, they hung up on me. Now they are saying I can schedule another call for four days from now.

Won't stay put
Doesn't remain where it should due to the stiff hose (it twists along the magnet contact). Will not work with a hanging shower caddy.

Plastic base broke
I installed this hand-held shower unit only 9 months ago. The plastic base that screws on the fixed shower arm broke at the point where the gasket is. See pic. Only one person uses the shower, and not daily. I don’t believe I twist or torque on it.

Very Little Pressure
I bought ths because my old one had a lot of water spots and i wanted something new especially something that can firmly stay in place love the magnet not the shower the pressure was so weak compared to the waterpik it replaced exchanging as we speak back to a waterpik showerhead

Overall, I believe it to be a great product. However, I am extremely disappointed that is does not have the "Mist" spray setting it was advertised in the Specifications section. Which is why I bought this product.
