Overall we like this showerhead. However, there are a couple of things that prevent it from getting a better rating. One is the flow is pretty low relative to other showerheads we've used. And the bigger problem is after about 2 months of use, the nut that connects to the pipe that comes out of the wall is leaking. It doesn't matter if I try more teflon tape or tighten the nut more. It just keeps leaking. The first couple of months, nothing, then all of a sudden water just sprays out and no way to stop it. See pic. I've made a warranty request so we'll see where that goes but for now I can't recommend this showerhead. We are long time Moen users and this is the first time anything of this nature has ever happened with any Moen product we've owned.

Just bought my second one, first one lasted over 4 years, not a bad life for this high value product. If you want great pressure, remove the small restrictor before installing. See other reviews for details. Easy to install, just need Teflon tape and some channel-lock pliers. Don't over-tighten. Hose length decent, can wash down undercarriage very easily. B+

I love everything about this shower head except the low water pressure due to the constrictor valve. This is an easy fix. The water constrictor is installed in the handle assembly. Remove the hose, then use a pointed needlenose pliers to pull out the white plastic "crosshair" piece. Next, use a sharp dental pick to pull out the rubber O ring and that's it. Your shower head will pour out water hard and fast like you would expect from a normal shower.

Had to replace twice because it snapped at the plastic and I was not able to screw back in. I am the only person who uses it. Very disappointed in a "top of the line" product.

Great shower head-fits the shower well. Has a good spray with a couple of different settings.

I installed this showerhead in 2010. After about 7 years it started to slowly leak down the handle. Not a lot of water, but when you had it on the traditional 'shower' setting a bit of water would run out of the 9 smaller holes in the very center. I put up with it, since it wasn't a big deal, for a year. Eventually I needed to replace my shower cartridge (not a Moen) and got all proactive so I figured I'd reach out to Moen to see if they had a seal kit or something for this shower head. I sent them an email to their contact us form on their website. Note, I didn't have a receipt, I didn't know exactly when I'd installed it, I didn't know the model number. I gave them my address and 3 pictures of the item. Didn't hear from them that day (it was 4pm central time afterall). Got an email the next day with a tracking number and an invoice for $0.00. They were sending me a brand spanking new unit! After 8 years, no receipt, no idea of the model Moen was standing behind their product WITHOUT QUESTION. No hoops to jump through, no back and forth to make a case. They saw a picture of their product, heard their customer's words that it wasn't working and did exactly what they promised on the package. There are a few companies out there like this, Osprey backpacks, Blackburn bicycle pumps and Timbuk2 bags always stand behind their products. I now count Moen in this elite crew of companies that put the customer first and do what they say they'll do. I'll never buy another fixture that isn't Moen.

This hand held shower head met my expectations

Very good value. Good, consistent spray pattern. Looks good, functional but not fancy.

Loved the looks of this showerhead. However, after only using it for 8 months the hose cracked up near the top as it is made of plastic. It's not like there is a family of 5 using it either. It is just my husband and I. Very disappointed in this Moen product.

The hose is too short and made with plastic.

I wrote one review talking about the head leaking. Moen's response said not to use thread sealant tape. I received my warranty replacement head, and sure enough, buried in the paperwork is a note about not using tape on the threads. I wish that were more prominently displayed on the packaging as many people, me included, would likely just automatically use tape since that is the standard when installing these kinds of things. Anyway, with not using tape it hasn't leaked at all so good on Moen to mention that to me during the troubleshooting of the leak. So, mostly this is a customer service review, and a packaging review. Great customer service from Moen. Packaging needs a bit of work.

I previously owned this type of shower head and it was great. This new one sucks, the water pressure is lousy and this one was made cheaper. i would not recommend this one for sure.

It doesn't seem to have the force of the force of the previous MOEN we had. The water seems to barely spray out, almost like it is conserving water or something. I should have returned it, I do have the package but not sure about the paper work.

Works exactly as needed and expected. Installed new tub and tub surround, this is the shower head we wanted since we had this unit in our old shower. Minor changes in the new one make it a bit better, very happy with it.

Could have a higher flow rate

Hose plastic covering is very stiff, making maneuvering the shower head difficult. Hose remains inflexible even after hot water runs through it.

Did not like spray selections and when water is turned off continues to drip

This was a replacement of a 3 year old Moen Banbury shower head which became clogged with scale buildup. Shower head works well and is a reasonable value.
