I am amazed how hard this little thing works. I installed a layer of 3/4 plywood in a large house with 3 1/2 # 10 screws. About 2000 screws. Them built a long dock and drilled thru many thick aluminum poles, tightened nuts, bolts and put in 6,500 deck screws 3 1/2 #10!!! This driver is still working Got very hot several times, dropped in salt water (rinsed and sprayed with CRC 6-56 immediately). STILL WORKS!!!! No notice if power loss.

Love it. Have an older one I purchased many years ago and was very attached to it and was concerned about replacing it.

It's light weight and can get into tight places that my drill motor could not. The front light allows you to see what you are working on.

I was starting to really like this impact driver until it starting smoking today. I was removing 3 inch screws from ply wood and 2 by 4's and the drill started smoking. I only used one bar of battery power and I didn't even remove 50 screws before it started smoking. I will be returning this drill, hopefully it was a manufacturing error.

I had purchased this item a few years ago and am very happy with it but when I purchased this one for my RV it came with a (physically) larger battery. Seems like this is a step backward, or was an older model from stock.

The good: short depth, useful in hard to access areas, removable belt clip, front LED. The not so good: price is high compared to equivalent models, brushed motor (which will require more maintenance), trigger switch hard to control at low speed.

Best machine I've had ever. I would recommend this to anybody I know. Can't go wrong with this
