Got it installed..then the temps dropped low enough for it not to automatically kick on! Oh well..one day it will work when I least expect it..when the temps get high enough

Purchased at Home Depot. Replaced the fan at the same time I replaced shingles. Fan ran fine for 18 months, then motor froze up . And really, it only ran during the hot summer months, maybe 7-8 months total run time. When I say the motor is frozen, I mean I can barely turn blades by hand, no way the motor will turn them. I would not recommend this fan, unless you want to replace it every 18 months.

item arrived in good condition. unit was easy to flash in. electric was simple, fan runs well and is very quiet.

Installed and it works great

Purchased this fan in 2019. I live in Tampa FL. This year we are breaking records for heat. Come to find out, my fan went out 2 weeks ago, contacted support, in no time at all they sent out a replacement motor via Fed-Ex and installed this morning. This fan saves me between 30-40 dollars a month on electric. Thank You!!! Great People with Great Products that keep Doing the “DO”

Appears not to be working even with steady temperatures in the 90's but it is already in place on the roof. It would cost me too much in labor costs to have it replaced, plus possible roof damage.

Works great. You should be clearer about the thermostat. I bought one thinking I needed it, turns out it was included so now I need to return the extra one.

Took a lot of pressure off my a/c unit

Have found over the years that the 1250 only lasts 3 years, so I decided to use the 1500 this time. Much quieter and hopefully it will last longer as always a pain to find someone to go on my roof in the heat of the summer and drop a new one in. By the way, just unscrew the new motor with fan blades and thermastate and drop into the existing housing on the roof.

It is working but not sure it is enough to handle the recent very hot hot weather .

The heat in our area has been brutal. Many days 101-105 lately. I currently have a home with no gables and static vents only. Each day I’ve checked at noon. The temp had been 10-15 degrees hotter in the attic than outside temp. So far I’m averaging no more than +5 degrees attic vs.outside temp. I’ll update during hotter times later. Runs very quietly. Really just the wind noise from the fan blades. Install note: completely “dry fit” it into position before doing any caulking. I caulked some of the more difficult areas before I fitted it completely. Had to pull it to remove a nail that blocked the last couple inches. Otherwise an easy install. My skill level average.

Only been in one day, so not sure how effective it will be. As far as everything else, clear instructions, quality, etc., it was very good. Also, the fan is very quiet; not sure why some complain about it being noisy. Very happy with it so far.

But this to replace an identical fan that I purchased from Home Depot over 15 years ago. Very disappointed as I have replaced one of the two fans like this on my roof previously simply by putting the new fan in the place of the old one. Unfortunately someone decided to make the same CFM fan with a different size housing. Obviously didn’t want to replace the housing on an existing roof unless I had to. This required me to take the old bracket off of the old fan and swap it onto the new fan just to make it fit the same housing. Tremendous hassle when you’re on a roof.

Very simple to install. Excellent directions were included. Much quieter than anticipated. As a residential builder for over 40 years, I give this fan the highest rating. It's a bargain at the price too.

This unit worked great getting heat out of attic. Helped the HVAC units to keep building cool.
