So quiet and the dishes come out clean every time. The layout is perfect and accommodates so many different dishes, pots, casserole and cutlery sizes. No scraping required ! Doesn’t show fingerprints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit a couple of weeks ago. First, the online purchase was easy and seamless. Scheduling delivery was also very easy. We have run the washer a couple of times now and it works very well. The washer was much quieter than I ever expected. I'm hoping this will last for quite some time as the build seems very solid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third dishwasher and the quietest by far. Everything comes out clean - even silverware with stuck on cheese from cheesy soups. I really like the extra top rack for sharp knives, small glasses, and miscellaneous travel mug and water bottle lids or small leftover containers. I took a star away because of the awkward middle rack which I want to fill with glasses, mugs, bowls, and dessert sized plates. There is a hump in the center area so bowls and dessert plates slide to the side and fall over and the tine placement and tilt make the area not work well for glasses either. We put random items in the space, but we are constantly needing to arrange and rearrange to get items to stay in a position where they will get clean and it always feels like there is wasted space. One pic below shows the awkwardness; the other the best use of space we have discovered so far (2 months of use).

It’s quieter than our last machine (GE) and does a great job getting dishes clean. My wife is getting more use out of the 3rd rack than I thought she would. She is very happy with the dish washer. Time will tell on the rack longevity and durability as well as the other components. Overall very happy so far. Might be a 5 star if it holds up. Time will tell.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) One month into dishwasher here is what we have found. Super Quiet Now - I added a bunch of additional material from 6.5 year old dishwasher. Maytag should really think about the back of the dishwasher and lower front to add additional denser sound material, as the 4 blade chopper in the dishwasher can make some noise at first. We use the quick cycle approx. hour to clean and 40+min to dry. We do clean the dishes. You don't have too based on the built in 4 blade chopper (I tested it out and works). We do and save 1 hour on wash. Choice is yours. Sometimes we do use the 2 hour was cycle. I love the 3 racks. never thought I would but we do. Finally a spot of all those big or crazy kitchen items that never really fit in a two rack system. No plastic spray arms in this dishwasher, which will cut down on replacing them later on. Plastic breaks down in these dishwashers and surprised some high end dishwashers don't use better material like this dishwasher. I like the fact our fork/spoon try is one piece vs separated versions, as those always seem to come apart on us when removing from dishwasher. Good surprise. Never looked at that option to be removed, but welcome to have it now. Easy to clean trap vs our last 6 dishwasher - finally. Easy controls on top. Small light on front of dishwasher tells you what is going on and if complete (clean). Dishwasher gives you 4 sec to close door with quick sound to notify you that it is starting. Love that feature. Easy to fill rise aid and soap try. Easy to load Finally someone designed a door without strings and pulleys. Just the springs to counter the door weight and swing it back up. Why this matters because those strings on pulleys eventually break down and you have to pull the dishwasher out to change this inexpensive part. The only issue on this dishwasher is the door handle. Thought it was great, but the door bar is better. We sometimes slip on this door handle while opening. We all feel this is not as simple to open vs a bar but I guess you don't bend the latch because you need to be straight on to open it. I see the logic in the design as to why. Our last latch bent because of the bar... Great idea of zero smudge door. I thought this was a gimmick but it works. No hand prints and yes it will show water marks or other stuff but cleaner vs the other stainless steel dishwashers we have had on the out side. Brilliant idea. I could go on and on. The price on this dishwasher sold me on the added couple of features with stainless steel tub. Very happy overall with how it cleans and functions. True test will be if it last. 6th Dishwasher in 23 years. Now my mother has had hers for 22 years and still going. And that was a Maytag. This is our first after all the other brands we have had. The best was the last dishwasher. We could not get a part for that brand after 6.5 years of use. Here is hoping this lasts.....

I truly like it more for the following reasons:the third rack, cutlery holder on right-side bottom rack long length thus holds more. Bottom rack had more capacity for more dishes than my previous. Second rack is adjustable. It is a better design inside with slick look outside.

It held all the dishes and pots from a complete turkey dinner including the turkey roasting pan all in one load. I love the third rack too. And it’s oh so quiet too! You can stand right in front of it and strain to hear anything. Wonderful machine!!!

We have used the dishwasher for 1 year - It works very quietly and does its job, but: 1. cannot clean tea stains and the scale (does not depend on the detergent used). 2. for some reason on stainless steel pans cloudy white spots which are hard to remove. 3. the dishes look and feel clean, but they may have an unpleasant bitter taste - if you try to lick them. A vent on the front door is a big plus, a bad smell does not appear inside. A few of my notices what must be improved: 1. The top panel should be better, just flat without any deepening where collected dirt which hard to clean. Also, strong plastic must be used for the top panel because the original one is already (in 1 year) bent because of heating. 2. In the front of the top rack is a strange angular plastic thing, perhaps it is a handle, but it always clings dishes on the middle rack. 3. The bottom silverware basket could have a better design - the holes are too big and the silverware often falls between parts of the rack.

This is my 3rd maytag dishwasher the first one lasted a little over 18 years, it still worked but didn't clean very well. I replaced it with another maytag and that one I wasn't so lucky with. after a few years I had to replace the control board. 2 years later it went out again. So I am trying another maytag and I'm hoping for the best. It cleans good, I like the third rack, comes in very handy. It's nice and quiet and I like the fact that I can stop and add something that I forgot and start up without having to restart from the beginning unlike the old one that had to be started from the beginning. I have always liked maytag appliances, and have owned a lot of them. I am in hopes that this will be a good one.

We've been using this new dishwasher a month now and I'm very satisfied. The third rack has been surprisingly useful, allowing my husband and I to run the dishwasher less frequently because it seems to hold more than our 5-yr-old Kitchen-Aid (it died) did. Our dishes are clean and dry after the standard auto cycle with short heated dry. I'm still learning to load it -- our bowls went in the center of the rack in our previous machine, but go on the side in this one, but then don't leave enough space on the outer edge for glasses? I haven't figured out how to handle that yet. Overall, very pleased. Seems solidly built. The test will be if it can last more than last 5 years. That's a pitiful life expectancy for an appliance, but neither our previous Bosch or Kitchen-Aid couldn't surpass it.
