Upon 2 weeks after install
Nice dishwasher with all the features I desired and some. Simple straight forward install for those looking to avoid an installation fee. Leveling the feet was my toughest challenge, because I had to slide the unit out in order to reach the rear feet. Aesthetically pleasing in my kitchen, and a Very Quiet operation! Gets dishes fully clean and dry. The only hiccup had was with my delivery not arriving on the date initially promised. Truck showed up without my unit, so I waited another 3 days.

Cleans Very Well and Very Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit cleans and dries very well. The choice of third rack for silverware and utensils or the large basket is very useful. The fixed tinges on the lower rack do not accommodate pots, pans or large bowls very well. Plates and shallow dishes fit well. A row or two of folding tinges would be welcome.

Broke after two uses

So quiet it’s almost inaudible
Purchased this model at Home Depot. Paid for install, haul away of old appliance and parts but upon delivery was told they could only install to metal pipes and my hook up is PVC. Don’t all homes have PVC now? Had authorized appliance installer put it in and it looks and runs great!! Wondering why there is water on the inside door and sides even when using the “Extended Heat Dry” setting? Meanwhile am still getting the run around in services I prepaid at Home Depot.

Rusting in 9 mths. Rust not covered in warranty
Bought this stainless steel dishwasher and it was delivered and installed in Dec2022. 9 months later, the outside steel (top left side strip above where the buttons are) has started rusting. No cleaners/water was ever used to clean the outside. Just dry microfiber cloth. Called Kitchenaid as its still under 1st year warranty. I'm told that RUST IS NOT COVERED AS PART OF WARRANTY. Reviews are there on other sites where customers mentioning same problem with Kitchenaid stainless steel dishwashers.

Vent drips water on the floor!!!
When this dishwasher sits for a few hours or overnight the condensation builds up in the vent and when you open the door it leaves a puddle on the floor. I did have a repair tech out and he said it is functioning as intended. I find it complete absurd that water dripping on the floor when you open the door is “normal.”
My wife already slipped on the puddle of water the floor of water the first time this happened! This is a safety hazard!
