I like the choice of temperature settings and the timed or sensor features are nice. I've had this dryer since 2015 and I have had to have it repaired twice since I've owned it and it is only six years old.

Please have the instruction manual updated to support the correct TORX tool from T25 to T20. I'm sure when the instructions were created this was the tool agreed to use but when production started they decided to change the size to TORX 20.

The Bravos XL is the first set of brand new washer and dryer I've ever had in 30 plus years of doing laundry. For the most part, I am happy with them. The one thing that probably would have changed my decision into getting something else is the lint trap on the dryer. It is the worst design I have ever seen. You basically have to get out the vacuum and attachments with every load to clean the screen and the inside.

The dryer has all kinds of adjustments but it takes effort, patience and skill to push START. It's a touch screen "hold to START button" and it takes multiple tries pressing and holding and then randomly it starts. For a fancy dryer with Steam features, I wish it was easier to turn on. I use the START feature more than any button on the dryer.

I have had my dryer for a full year now. I use it mostly for drying sheets, towels, cotton/polyester t-shirts and table linens. I do not overload the machine. Even with a small load of light items, the Normal cycle does not come close to drying the items, not even when I select Most for the dry level. I get satisfactory drying only with the long-running Bedding or Heavy Duty cycles, set to the highest dry level and temperature. That is not high-efficiency in my book. I haven't found the Wrinkle Prevent function to be particularly useful, either.

I purchased this dryer as a set a little over three months ago and am extremely disappointed with both but the dryer is the most frustrating machine I've ever used. Other than drying one piece at a time, the only way to get your clothes dry is to use high temperature settings which result in shrinking and you still have damp spots around waistbands and seams. A normal sized load of clothes takes anywhere from 3-4 cycles to dry and they come out wrinkled no matter what you do to avoid wrinkling, they still come out in need of ironing and lint ball removal. The check lint screen light is SO frustrating. No matter how many times you check the lint screen, you must close the door, push start, open the door and check the lint screen again in order to make the light go off. You would think a machine that promises the ability to "sense" the moisture levels in clothing would be able to sense whether or not the lint screen had JUST been cleaned prior to pushing the start button. The buttons themselves are not very sensitive and must be held in or pushed repeatedly to get them to work. This machine offers plenty of features but all the features in the world are pointless if they do not work. The only good thing about this machine is that it is quiet but it is by far the worst dryer I have ever owned. I am certain a clothes line and cheap box fan would dry clothes faster, better and more efficiently than does this dryer.

Randomly turns itself off in the middle of a load, then refuses to start again... but it makes a lot of irritating beeps at least!

going on 6 years purchased maytag bravos XL washer and dryer and did not buy into the hype of front loading machines and the expensive drawers you need to keep from bending over all the time to load and unload , especially the washing machine... anyway, these maytags have performed as hoped and expectations were exceeded. They were scratch/dent from Sears Outlet Store in Dallas and I love them both, they are truly amazing and have 10 year warranty! #gomaytag

Bought this unit several years ago and have had no problems. I have a pool and all the relatives come over to swim. This dryer gets used more than most people would ever use. Weekends it seems to be in use all the time to dry towels. Buying a dryer with steam did not seem a good idea at the time. Now I would not know how to live without my Maytag washer and dryer. This dryer does dry the laundry if you don’t mind the loud noise that it makes while doing so.

I have had this dryer for 2 years. After about 18 months the dryer began making a small rattling sound. It has increasing become louder and the clothes continue to take longer and longer to dry. We will be replacing the heating element soon. For the cost of the dryer, I was expecting to get more than 2 years out of the appliance before needing service.Also the lint trap is poorly designed. It allows lint to get stuck inside machine with no way of collecting it.

I have had this dryer for almost 2 years. My only complaint is cleaning the dryer vent. When you pull out the lint catcher it always catches on something and some of the lint goes down the vent.

Had it for 5 months and it performs to the specs. No issues, clothes are dried gently. I like it.

I bought this a month ago and do not regret it. My clothes dry in less time and there are many options to choose from. Dryer is very quiet. Love it!

I bought this a little over a year ago and it has been a downer. The washer leaves a lot of lint on the clothes and if you don't use a dryer to get the lint off you have to rewash the clothes. This is not a washer for those eco friendly consumer who line dry their laundry. I have had to replace a bearing already and I am currently waiting on the repair company to come again as the washer is making a horrible noise when the tub goes around. I definitely did not get what I expected when I spent a sizable amount of money on a high end washer and dryer.

I've had this dryer a year now and still love it... it is one of the few appliances that I can say great words of appreciation! It is very quiet, dries the clothes quickly, never a problem, all around wonderful!

I've had my Bravos XL dryer by Maytag for a year now and still think it is great Quality! It's actually the best dryer I've had, and I've had many. Love the steam for refreshing clothes I forget about.

Wow! What a wonderful dryer. I have loved using this dryer thus far. Clothes come out almost wrinkle free and and so soft.

I have only had this dryer for a few weeks but I have noticed it dries my cloths faster than my old dryer. I love all the settings it has and I really like the window.

I bought this 3 weeks ago. Didn't want all the bells and whistles and this one had less than some. Don't use the steam option so I can't comment on that. The bell at the end of the cycle is not very audible. Otherwise, it works well and hopefully, will last a long time.

Love that the drum is higher than most, therefore making it easier to load and unload. The wrinkle free option does not lessen wrinkles at all.

We've had our dryer for several months now, and we're very happy with its ease and efficiency. The only glitch it has is the filter -- it's not tight enough on the top, so lint, animal hair, and dust go through to the other side. I have to take a thin brush and clean out the filter slot after every drying, and I wonder how much is accumulating in my duct.

Unable to control wrinkles no mater what we set it at. Out old Maytag dryer was mutch better than this one. Sheets and even shirts look really bad.
