[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our LG French Door Refrigerator about a month ago. So far we really like our Maytag 18 cu. ft French Door Refrigerator. Like the option of ice maker in door and the bin in the freezer section for making large amounts of ice when needed. Interior shelves are well designed, as is the storage in the doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this freezer to replace an upright freezer made by a different manufacturer. It quit and I needed another to put my food in. It only took four hours to reach operational temperature. It is quiet and worry free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice Freezer that helps with organizing frozen foods. Going from a Chest Freezer to the Upright Freezer. Can now see all the food without shifting around to see underneath. Four Stars cause the freezer does its job very well. The shelves adjust and the door shelves are perfect depth for pint and quart containers.. Not five stars cause its not phenomenal. XD Bought wire baskets to further organize food storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product for a couple of reasons. 1st is the make that one can trust "Maytag", Another reason is the size, and where I it intended to place it, it fitted just perfectly in the are I planned on putting it in. and the last reason is that it is frost free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer online. I bought it online and so I didn't see it before it came to my house. It did not disappoint us as it was a great freezer.

After just a few years of service, this freezer motor continued running, but no longer kept food frozen. Steaks, chops, ribs, and bacon all rotted. We have a GE freezer that is 25 years old still working. Terrible mess.

I bought a Maytag Frost Free Freezer 5 yrs 5 months ago like this Maytag and so far, I have lost 4 freezer full of frozen meats, ext and spent over $900 on it! 4 times it has lost its cold temps and food thawed. This has been an expensive lemon, considering all the food thrown into the garbage! Has anyone else had my experience! The first time Maytag sent me a $50 gift card to make me feel better for losing over a $1100 in food.

Complete garbage. New two years ago now can't be repaired because condenser slow leak lost all freon. Maytag will do nothing. Customer service is terrible! Good luck out there.

The freezer is spacious inside, but doesn’t take up a lot of room. It runs very quietly. It was “freezing” cold within an hour of delivery and plug in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased a month ago to add needed badly frozen food space to the small chest type unit. It is a breathtaking view of items that are easily seen with the bright lights and well designed storage racks, shelves and lower pullout basket. It is so easy now to find what is needed at the moment and to inventory what needs to be added on the next shopping trip. A great value for the price paid!

Good quality freezer, alot smaller than expected, yes I would buy it again tho.

Bought this Freezer August of 2015. This summer just before going on vacation we notice the food in the top of the freezer and the door was thawed but the stuff on the very bottom was somewhat frozen. The evaporator had frozen up. Called the "Maytag Man" who came out and diagnosed it to be the controller. That cost $125 for the visit and was told the part had been discontinued. With some research I found it had been superseded to a new part number but that was on back order. That part was listed at $89.99. So I placed an order for the part. Was informed this month that part number had been discontinued. Called Maytag parts. Was told the part was not in stock and was $360 and it would be about 2 weeks before shipping and I would have to send the old part back. Then I would receive a $60 credit. To make things worse the person on the other end didn't seem care about this. So to fix this is almost half of what a new freezer would cost and thats with me replacing the part. If the tech replaced it it would have been more than a new freezer. Will never buy a Maytag/Whirlpool again because Maytag/Whirlpool have no interest in standing behind their products. Freezer should have lasted at a minimum 10 years, that's why they're called Durable Goods. This freezer didn't even last 4 years. Buy LG or Samsung. My experience with then is they actually stand behind their product.

One of the very few thinner freezers that have a large capacity. Works great.

Very pleased with my Maytag upright freezer.

This is a replacement freezer. It was up and running in no time. The shelving in the door are spaced well and strong. The shelving is heavy-duty wire and fit perfectly. My only complaint is that there was no drawer/basket that pulled out--it's just a bin. I would have liked for it to pull out for me to see what (would be) in it so I didn't have to dig. (From the looks of the inside of this picture, I'd have to dig as the kids have already moved things around!)

Bought this freezer Jan. 15 2018. I didn't pay attention to the brand when I bought it, if I would have I would have passed on the purchase. The freezer quit working the second week of May. The pictures tell the story. I am very glad the thing didn't blaze up and catch my house on fire. Have called the service phone number several times, just to sit on hold waiting for someone to answer the call. Had to give one star on the overall rating, but the freezer isn't even a one star.

Freezer has large capacity and quiet. Told on delivery that there would be an extra charge for changing the door opening from the right. This was not mentioned when ordering.Store sent guys to change door 2 days later when I was unable to complete change myself. Working great so far.

This is a great freezer and very easy to maneuver to its place in your home. For its small size it can hold a lot of goods. Has a very bright light inside. I'm very pleased with this Maytag freezer and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new high quality unit.

I bought this one 4 years ago.Love it. Needed another for my Mom. Bought the same model. Of course the new one is has upgraded features such as more lighting and a recessed handle. But it works great and is very quiet. It's maintenance free, great price, so what more can you require from a freezer! Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Purchased this almost a month ago and we are very pleased with it. It is just the right size for our needs and love that it has a light inside and is frost free. It does get a little noisy at times when it turns on and is running but most of the time we don;t notice it. Great freezer overall!

This freezer was the perfect size to fit our needs! Very roomy, and so much better than a chest-type. The deliver and setup process was completely hassle-free as well.

This Maytag freezer was easy to install, just plug in and turn on. The Home Depot Delivery team was competent and professional. We located the freezer right by the garage entry door - very convenient for putting frozen foods right in when unloading groceries. We also put it on a dolly for easy moving and cleaning. The freezer is super cold and quiet - we are very pleased overall with the product and purchase and delivery experience.

Went on sale since i looked at it and decided to purchase.The light is bright and a nice feature.I like the curved door.The freezer does seem to run a lot!I don't know if it's because it's a Frost Free? I never owned a frost free freezer before so i don't know if this is why.

This is a fabulous freezer. I am so happy I have it! My recommendation is to buy as large of one as you can fit in your spot, because they are easy to fill! You will want more freezer space! A chest freezer of the same size should have more space. (Wire baskets make chest freezers easier to use!) Look at the interior...see the slits on the center tube? The cold air comes out from them, and they are to be left exposed. You have to plan around that. Look at the bottom shelf. It is less deep than the other shelves, thanks to the compressor. You may want to buy another thin shelf, and another deep shelf to make the most of the shelving options. Maytag sells them, and you need to call to order them. They are not online at this time. There is clearly support for a drawer, however one was not made for it. :'(

The Freezer is great, was delivered on time and fits perfect in our garage. And the price was amazing.

Energy rated, best advantage for me is to be able to switch door hinges to take advantage of my space and use, very quiet, fast dreeze in no time, have had it set up for two weeks and no dislikes at all.having a light in side is great.

The freezer works great. I replaced a 20 year old 18 cu. ft. freezer I was tired of defrosting (even though it worked fine). This one is 6 inches wider, but the same height, with a little less capacity. There are just 2 people in the house so I haven't missed the extra space yet.

Perfect for our needs.
