This unique backsplash is both elegant and upscale looking. It adds glamor too my kitchen.

We were selling our home, and really did not want to paint the kitchen cabinets. This kitchen was TINY. Similar to a New York apartment. These sweet tiles did the trick. The new buyer purchased the home from out of State without ever walking thru the actual house. She said the kitchen was her favorite room. Thanks Home Depot. We are about to flip another house, and I'm ordering these tiles again. It will look different, because this time we are painting the cabinetry. I'll send pics!

My nephew's girlfriend and I did my backsplash in one day using simplemat, and alabaster colored unsanded grout. Neither of us had any experience. We used utility knives to score the tiles where needed, and snips to snap the score line. Taking time to score the tiles a minimum of 3 times resulted in clean "snaps". We dry fit the whole back splash prior to installation. Plan on plenty of grout (we used 10 lbs on nearly 3 boxes of tile), and plan significant, arm cramping time for grout clean up as the depressions in various tiles take more work to clean than a traditional flat surface tile. We couldn't be more pleased. The neutral colors blend well with our color scheme, as well as tying in with SS appliances. We previously had a brown anaglypta glaze-painted backsplash, so the tile brightened up our kitchen extremely well.

I had this back splash installed in a kitchen reno; I love it so much I'm having it put in a new house I am building. LOVE IT!!

This is a very easy tile to install if you follow a few directions. First, it's very thin and really only for say a full back splash or a decorative feature on a table. Second, rather than mess around with thinset, use Bondera or SimpleMat. I like Bondera better but in this case SimpleMat would would better because it is lighter. Bondera is very gray. Third, I'd use Fusion Pro for the grout because you can get a glitter looking color like Starlight or Ice Crystal that will really make these glimmery sea shell tiles stand out.

We are using these tiles to dress up a craft table by using them as a topper with a clear epoxy overcoat. The color is a beautiful cream shimmer that would also look great as a backsplash. The tiles are thinner than expected, so very little grout would be needed to fill in between if using as a back splash. Given how thin they are, these tiles would work great for craft projects like a mirror/picture frame or for mosaic pieces. Tiles seem durable and sheets are easy to work with.

I just love this Merola Tile! I have used their products before and have never been disappointed. This tile has a high sheen which really reflects the light beautifully. I installed it in my guest bathroom as a backsplash behind the sink. It is so very easy to install and I just used a pair of scissors to cut to size. I used a putty knife to spread the adhesive and just pressed it on the wall! So easy and it adheres very well! I highly recommend this Natural Seashell Mosaic Tile!

We selected these in hopes of using them in our kitchen remodel. However, as we are finding out when comparing little sample pieces is what we think will work, doesn't always work on a larger scale. You may not be able to tell, but the shells are too warm for the cool color of our counter tops. We did lay these out so you can get an idea of how they would look with a darker grout to make them 'pop' a bit. These are natural shell and have a hint of warm caramel color to them. Overall, they do give a white appearance - but will work best with warm tones as opposed to cooler tones. Because we love them - and because we are still in the beginning stages on the master bath, we have decided to use these on the entire wall behind the vanity. Should be stunning when we are finished!!

The Merola Conchella Penny is a most unique and beautiful tile. It looks like it may be difficult to place because of the individual shells, but it's actually quite easy. The shells are thin which makes it easy to cut, but they are well adhered to the mesh backing so there's no danger of one falling off. Before putting each tile in its place permanently, be sure to test that it fits. I had one that I had to flip to make it fit properly. Still, this is a beautiful tile that would make a stunning wall or border.

We love the brightness of the seashell mosaic. In order to make sure this is the right tile for us we tacked into place to get and idea (has a mesh backing). We love that the mesh keeps it together and makes it easy to cut. It goes up really easy. The tiles are thin (2mm) so not too heavy. We have worked with the Merola tile collection before and were so happy with how it came out we are hoping for the same results this time.

Another just gorgeous tile from Merola. This tile consists of small, very thin circular disks in natural earth tones in soft variations of whites, beiges and light browns on a mesh backing. Sheen is the right word to describe the finish on this tile. The disks definitely have a soft shine to them but nothing glaring. The mesh backing that they're adhered to makes it pretty easy to cut and put up.

Wow,. this tile is absolutely gorgeous!! Beautiful variations of white on white which catch the light and look like mother-of-pearl. They actually seem to glow on their own. I totally agree with the description as they do seem to have a "sheen" but not what I would call a shine to the material they're made of. They're fairly thin and adhered to a mesh backing which should be pretty easy to put up.

This tile is stunning! We installed it in on the walls of our children's shower. It is a nice light color so the shower doesn't feel enclosed. I love that the circles are staggered instead of staked in straight lines. The shimmer is gorgeous. This is made of actual shells and has a beautiful shine. The mesh backing makes it very easy for installation.

Ordered the MEROLA TILE CONCHELLA PENNY WHITE 11-1/4 IN. X 11-5/8 IN. X 2 MM NATURAL SEASHELL MOSAIC TILE, WHITE SHELL / HIGH SHEEN as a possible tile for our backsplash in our basement bathroom. We have yet to install these as some plumbing and the vanity need to go in first. At unpackaging the tile it appears to be of good quality and easy to cut to conform to the space. Given we intend to use on a backsplash it should be ok but at first glance the tiles appear to be rather thin.If you plan to install on a floor make sure they are in a good bed of thinset.

The Merola conchella penny white natural seashell mosaic tile has all the beauty of the sea. I am ready to add some “bling” to my bathroom as a backdrop and this exotic mosaic seashell tile will be a great contrast to my carrara marble bath countertops. The white iridescent penny-shaped shells had an illumination for a great contrast. The mosaics are mesh mounted for easy installation. A latex-modified thinset is recommended for acceptable bond strength to the back of the tiles and set in your desired space. I will be using indoors but these tiles are frost resistant for outdoor applications also.

This is Beautiful Merola Tile Conchella Penny Natural 11-1/4 in. x 11-5/8 in. x 2 mm Natural Seashell Mosaic Tile. Love the Pearl accent in the shells. I got this hoping to install this mosaic tile in the bottom of my Spare Bathroom acrylic bathtub, but the tile is allot thinner than I was excepting. I'm afraid it will crack in pieces. I will to have to figure out somewhere else to install this. Love it.

Gorgeous iridescent tile! I chose this tile for my kitchen backsplash. I like how it reflects the light which will really brighten up my kitchen. I also chose a metal edging which will really finish off both edges at each end of the countertop. Besides how beautiful the shells are, I like that a case of tile comes in a very manageable box since the tiles are so thin (about 1/16 inch thick). I recommend this to anyone who wants to add some "bling" to their kitchen or bathroom!

This is a very distinctive tile. The seashell pennies stand out and will steal the show in any setting. Each penny in the square foot mesh looks slightly different than the one next to it, making a truly unique appearance. Then, when the light hits them they reflect back many beautiful and different hues. I am using this for a tray ceiling in a walk in shower. They are very lightweight and will defy gravity easily. Use a very small notch trowel as these are very thin tiles. I am trying to think of places in the house where the lighting changes throughout the day to use more of these. They are unbelievable until you see them in person.

This tile is beautiful! I wanted some "bling" in my kitchen which can get quite dark in the winter months. I needed a backsplash tile that would reflect the light and this really does. It is a beautiful white iridescent color, yet thinner than I had expected. But that makes sense since it is a natural seashell product. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to give their space a classy upscale upgrade.

No . It looked in the picture like there was some blue, but when we received the product it was all brown. Our Kitchen was brilliant white, black, gray, white Quartz Countertop with Voyager blue accents on the walls. this was going to be the BackSplash tile between the cabinets and countertop. Returned it and we went with the small 3" subway tiles with Platinum grout. I would recommend this product to someone if it fit their needs.

This tile is absolutely beautiful. The luminescent highlights brighten our small kitchen and it has both brown and gray tones, so it looks good with natural colors. I did spend some time selecting a laminate for the countertop that would complement it and not compete with it. My daughter picked this out and as soon as I saw it, I knew that it would be a non-negotiable component of the design!

It came out beautiful! It was a difficult to install (according to the installer) and fragile but so worth it!

Very pretty delicate tile, perfect for bathroom backsplash.

This tile looks beautiful around the bathroom mirror. The idea for the frame came from a mother of pearl tile framed mirror for over a vanity. My mirror was much bigger and I debated taking it out and replacing it with the smaller mirror. Then I saw these tiles. They are expensive but it was less expensive to tile my larger mirror than purchasing the small mirror.

Installation was pretty easy easy. Instead of using mastic I used the adhesive paper because the tiles were so thin. I cut the tiles with a Dremel saw and it worked fantastic. I get complimented constantly on how fantastic it looks. I am extremely pleased with the look.

This tile was very easy to work with and we're extremely pleased with the results. Take care that you not use too much adhesive as the thin tiles don't allow room for much grout. We used bright white adhesive and bright white grout and avoided uneven coloring.
