The Merola CONCHELLA MINI PENNY WHITE 11-1/2 IN. X 11-5/8 IN. X 2 MM NATURAL SEASHELL MOSAIC TILE is exquisite. They are made from genuine seashell, so the iridescence is natural and varies slightly from tile to tile. It glimmers and I love it. Because the tiles are mounted to mesh and must be kept dry to preserve the integrity of the mesh, we followed the suggestion when installing the tile as a backsplash and removed the individual tiles that needed to be modified for fit from the mesh and cut them individually with tile nippers. We went with a Snow White un-sanded grout and are very pleased with the outcome.

Very easy to cut and install. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice tile.

I absolutely love love love this seashell tile. It is actually more gorgeous in person. I used it as a backsplash in my kitchen. It has such a beautiful shimmer to it. My contractor had some hesitation due to the delicacy of the shells but it cut very nicely with a wet saw.

The tile came in sheets and were different lots with different dimensions so that the repeat didn't match up well. I discovered this too late.

Absolutely stunning! I used this as a backsplash in my kitchen, and it looks amazing! It is shiny, feminine, and the tiny subway tiles make my kitchen wall look so much bigger. It you are interested in a natural shell in this color, don't think, just buy!

Tile was used as a backsplash in the bathroom. Was easy to cut with the Dremmel 7/8 in diamond wheel, and installed easily. Very good looking accent.

Space between the individual tiles was large and pieces weren't cut straight . Had to return it to the store . Before ordering I would suggest getting one tile to see how you like it

It's nice, but did not suit my kitchen project. It can be certainly recommended for the suitable kitchen decor.

I had very good luck installing this mosaic. I found that using a Dremmel tool with the 7/8" diamond cutting wheel was the quickest and best way to cut the individual tiles. The finished installation met all my spouse's wishes. It looks great! I used the adhesive mat to mount the tiles and used the alabaster grout.

I wound up not using it, but only because I went with a solid gray subway tile. It would work as an excellent accent, though.

Had it installed as trim in a shower and vanity in one bathroom a couple of years ago - we have loved it - especially due to our love of shelling. So now we bought 20 sq ft more ($400+) of the same model number (GDXCSWW) for our master bath trim and backsplash project; however our first time it had 20 rows of tile across, but this shipment (in 2017) only had 18 rows across, making the tile gap space much larger, giving a much different look in a bad way. Just hoping the manufacturer will find us some more 20-row material.

The tile is beautiful! I can see touches of pink, green, blue colors in the tiles too. So very pretty. It did me my expectations too. I would recommend this tile.

I love how this product looks installed, but be for-warned that each lot is slightly different with respect to how the individual shells are laid out on the mesh backing. My job required more than a 10 piece box, which was different from individual sheets. each lot is slightly different in size and layout. It took additional time to modify (cut backing) to make pieces from different lots fit together. For example, when I needed two partial pieces, it turned out to be eight partial pieces modified to fit what was already installed. what a pain to trim backing with scissors. Finished job looks really good. The Mother of pearl looks better than any man-made tiles.

This is great tile for a backsplash. We only wish the manufacturer had created matching edging.

This tile (or thin shells) is magnificent looking when it's all up and grouted. My tile guy said he's never worked with anything like it before and it took him quite a while to install it.. double his reg time but it was worth it.

This tile is amazingly gorgeous. We used it for a focal wall in our bathroom combination tub/shower space. My husband did it himself and it was easy to work with. Yes, it is thin but does not affect the durability. They are shells after all. Easy to install, no more difficult than any other tile. Everyone that see our shower drools over the mother of pearl tile. You cannot go wrong buying this, My favorite tile ever! Pictures do not do it justice.

This tile looks just as a I imagined. Beautiful. I used it around my fireplace and it really lit up that corner of the room!. I used a diamond blade on a grinder to cut this tile and it worked great! This tile is thin, but dense and tough. I am impressed with it. Although I have done several DIY tile jobs, this is my first work with shell tile. It grouted easily and cleaned beautifully!!!

We haven't installed this yet so I can't rate that part, but it is absolutely gorgeous!
