I saw this tile later after I had tile installed & was sorry that I had not had it done. However, I just got a sample of this tile & it is not "clean & bright." The background is a light gray. If you want some white in your kitchen, don't do this tile. Although it's pretty, it does not have a white background.

This tile works well in groups of 4 to create the big pattern. You could also use it linear, like a backsplash. I would use this tile on the floor. It has a matte finish that would keep it from being so slippery. I also suggest the floor for this tile because it is so thick and heavy. The thickness will also need to be taken into account if using this tile as an accent as most tile is much thinner. I know the pattern is supposed to have a worn out effect. I don't like that part. But this Spanish made tile would give a room that old world charm.

This is a very sturdy tile that can withstand frost conditions and high traffic areas. Of course, if you drop a hammer on it, it will chip because it is tile. It has a feel like clay or brick because it is extruded tile, but it is better than those because it is stronger. It is fired at a higher temperature, and the surface does not absorb water like terracotta would. The blue of this tile matches the picture and the weathering is very authentic looking.

Love the beautiful shades of blue in this tile. I would suspect that this tile would be durable in use since it's just over 5/8" thick. The texture on the surface is just rough enough to where I would thick it would be highly slip resistant in use as well. Since I only got one box of this tile to lay out as a test I can't say how easily it would be to install, but I would suppose it would go down just as any other tile would except that because of it's thickness/weight it would probably be a bit harder to set and and maneuver into position.Not sure of the material it's made out of but it looks to be a glazed clay tile.

I picked up this lovely tile to serve as the top surface of a coffee table build I am working on. The colors and the patterning are cool and inviting yet subdued enough to play nicely with warmer colors. It is worth noting the thickness of this tile if you intend to incorporate it with other tile. It is at least twice as thick as any other tile I have worked with.

This is possibly the most attractive and durable tile I have ever used. I cannot speak to floor installation beings I am using it for a table top on a Bistro table on my deck. The color is a beautiful, subtle "old world" looking muted color. It is a very heavy, thick tile. I did not have to cut so I cannot speak to ease of cutting to fit an area. I would highly recommend and when I replace bath flooring this will be my choice.

Merola Tile's Alcazar Petunia tile is bold and heavy! Faded blue floral design on a truly thick and heavy tile. Matte finish, extruded spanish tile. .67 inch (~11/16") / 17 mm thick. Be sure to take into account how thick this tile is for either floor or wall application where lippage and edge conditions will be a concern. Otherwise a beautiful tile to work with.

These tiles are too pretty to be limited to only the floor! I created a table top for some iron outdoor furniture - the soft blue and white make a great contrast to the black iron of the rest of the furniture. It really brightens up a dark corner of the porch. The texture and pattern are classical and could be used in formal settings or more casual spaces. Really nice!

SO AMAZED BY THIS PRODUCT! I would install this in every home that I lived in and flipped. It is amazing close up and I don’t like light blue. The tiles are sturdy and the graphic beautiful. These would make an amazing bathroom or kitchen floor or an accent wall. And if you are into the indo or boho thing, do it up all over the bathroom. Delighted when I opened this box!

This tile is absolutely stunning! The tile was boxed very well. The packaging kept the tile completely safe during shipping, even though there was slight damage to the box. The colors are exactly what I pictured when I looked at these online. True to color with slight variations, as expected, make these a very nice addition and really look custom.

This tile does have the look of real antique, well worn tile. The coloring is faded in various areas on all of the individual tiles and there is no sheen on them, which gives the impression that generations of feet have tread on them. Although they are listed as "floor and wall quarry tile", I would be hesitant to put them on walls, as they are quite heavy. Also, they must be handled carefully because, being ceramic, they will chip easily. I lightly bumped one tile on the other and, as you can see in the picture, the bumped tile chipped on the edge.

Brilliant and astonishing! Quality is almost on its very top (the only thing that I did not appreciate - blurred prints of ornament). The pictures that I attached might be not accurate representing actual color (I made them with flash on). However, trust me that colors are gorgeous. These tiles are just perfect for flooring in bath and kitchens. I would not use them for wall though: too thick and heavy (choice is still yours and for back splash wall it might be not bad one). My intent to use them to decorate space in front of fireplace (bricks look too boring). Will share my results once available!

We used this tile in our kitchen as part of a whole room remodel. I was looking for something reminiscent of the tile I saw when visiting Marrakech a few years ago and fell in love with this. It gives the perfect amount of pattern against white cabinets and is distressed the perfect amount to give a little more of a vintage, rustic feel. My original concern was that it would be too busy, but the lighter color pallet mixed with the distressing allows it to add a little variety of textures without taking over the whole space. We love how sturdy it is so far and have now been living on it for 4 months with no issues. Cleaning is easy, which was important to us as we have two toddlers in the house and food, art supplies, and play-doh inevitably end up on the floor each day. The only thing I would be careful of is letting your contractor/installer know how thick it is from the beginning. We had to adjust the thickness of our backer board to ensure it did not mess with the stair heights at 2 separate entryways to the room because of how thick it was. Our installer also charged us a little extra because of how thick the tile was and the extra labor it took to install because of that fact. Overall, we love this tile and I am so happy with the decision to use it. We get so many compliments on the flooring and we know we will continue to love it for years to come.

Beautiful tiles that make a wonderful backsplash! Only downfall is that we weren’t able to cut within the tile for outlet boxes without the tile cracking, we had to cut on the sides. Despite this, we made it work and it looks great.

I do love this tile, the handmade quality and vintage look of it, but I have to note the background color is more gray than white, which somewhat altered my plan for a coordinating tile.

Installed beautifully, great look!

The tile I received was very different in color than it was on the listing. There is quite a bit of teal in the design which is in sharp contrast to the blue and it was way more distressed than the photo online. It is a pretty tile, just not the blue color I was hoping for and more aged than is appropriate for my decor.

I have not had this tile installed, but I bought it for the color and design. It is beautiful. I have a blue and white home so this is perfect. The bathroom remodel will be done within the next 12 mo. I didn't want to miss out on the tile.

love HD, but this was a terrible experience The tiles were way too thick, way too heavy, were shipped to store two weeks late, and the color was more grey than blue (as shown on website) so it wasn’t what I wanted & then the return for online product took over an hour - very disappointing

this is a beautiful tile but decided not what I was looking for the fireplace surround. great for a bathroom floor.
