Fastest way to waste money. I like Milwaukee tools, but this sander is a complete piece. Paper clamps are a joke. As much as hand sanding blows, it is a breeze compared to how infuriating this thing is.

I see a lot of this now that i look into it. Everyone has same story, within 30 minutes of unboxing dust collector just randomly pops off. Usually Miwaukee is my go to for price to quality ratio, but this aint it. Not sure what the other redeamble qualities would be as this makes it practically unuseable

First time very reliable

It is good for what I needed done in home

serious hobby user, just like the rest of the users the dust collector is a joke, falls apart just seconds into use, the sandpaper clamp -#50 in the parts diagram broke, seems to be to common, and no replacement. also my milwaukee orbital sander is on its way out also, keep replacing parts and something else breaks. hello dewalt i need a sheet and orbital sander. .

I bought this for use on two smaller projects (sanding a stand for a water cooler, and some as-yet-unassembled pieces of a patio table. It was quick to get going and easy to use - installing sandpaper is simple and straightforward. And it seems to be doing a good job for me. The one headache is that the cap over the dust bin does not fit securely - it keeps falling off while I'm working. Annoying.

Super great sander it does not catch all the dust I’m excited to try on another project and hook it to the vacuum and see if that works better!!

This sander was advertised as having low vibration. As it turned out, it was no better than the one that I was replacing.

I have used many orbital sanders over the years and this one is so disappointing. The sandpaper will not stay on the machine.

This sander was okay for a brief period. Before the end of my project, which was sanding a dresser, this sanders dust collection lid kept coming off and then the dust collector started coming off. It seems the vibration from the sander is too strong to secure the dust collector. Also, the foam pad is already worn down in several spots. This sander was a disappointment because we have many Milwaukee tools that are great.

So far mine is staying together, but I can't find pre-punched paper for it anywhere.

The ONLY reason for the two stars is that the dust box doesn’t stay on for more than a handful of seconds. Having dust blowing at you isn’t fun.

The sander itself works pretty good, however the filter canister walks itself off from the vibration and doesn’t stay on very well. Does well otherwise

Great Price and good warranty, very powerful, would highly recommend for a corded sander.

The springs to retain the sandpaper are not strong enough to hold the sandpaper. The paper keeps flying off and ruined the project. I have never this problem with any other sander and definitely would not buy another Milwaukee product.

I bought this many years ago and just recently became curious to see if anyone else had the same issue as I have with this, specifically that the dust collector falls off after a minute or two of use. And if it miraculously stays on the dust collector cap inevitably vibrates loose and falls off. This is 100% absolutely a waste of money, I fought with this a few times then just put it away in favor of my non-milwaukee orbital sander and sanding by hand to get rid of swirl marks They really need to go with a more reliable connection method like the bayonet connection other companies use and the associated cylindrical port instead of a rectangular port. It's like whoever made the design decision of using a rectangular port did it out of spite or intentional sabatoge.

First its one if thr loudest i have ever had. Secondly i was worried about the pleated fikter in the dust carcher. Incenit had a little dust integ fikter the air pressure would back ul shooting the dust catcher off. No real positive locking mechanism on it

Works really well only problem i have with the sander is the back filter holder comes off frequently and is a pain to keep on
