I love this light. Very bright with 3 modes of lighting and not that dumb flashing that nobody uses. I like that the head pivots and the strong magnetic base for hands free operations.

Disappointed
As a huge Milwaukee fan this light was a massive disappointment. At first I was incredibly happy. All the way up until the first battery change. The little core that’s inside that holds the three batteries was broken and didn’t make good connection with the batteries making the light useless. I expect Milwaukee to make better products than this.

This LED flashlight is the perfect size to keep in the glovebox of my truck.. It has already come in handy on more than one occasion. I have the larger Milwaukee flashlight that is rechargeable and I like it very much. This one takes 3 AAA batteries and so far those batteries have lasted quite a while. It is a little expensive for it's size but I've had too many cheap flashlights and I'm ready for a quality one that I won't have to replace for years and years.

I have a few of the USB flashlights Milwaukee currently has to offer and if I had to choose just one this would be it. This is a very versatile, low profile, and surprisingly efficient light. Its spot and flood light modes both offer a surprising amount of light at relatively good run times. Expect 3-3.5 hours on flood high/spot mode and 8+ hour on flood low. The belt clip is also a handy for storage and usage. The combination of the pivoting head and strong magnet make for easy directional lighting. The price is a bit steep but if you need a versatile and practically design light this one is for you.

I am always on the lookout for flashlights to use at home as well as while I am on-duty as a first responder. This flashlight is great. I like that it is medium in size, small enough to fit in my pants/jacket pocket yet it sits comfortable in my hand and makes it easy to grip. It gives off an impressive amount of clean bright light from such a small size. It feels very durable and is made of high quality materials. Due to this metal construction I am confident it will withstand drops and abuse when I am working. I also like that it uses standard AAA batteries which are much easier to locate and replace was they are needed. Great compact flashlight for work or home/car

A great work flashlight that should handle life being tossed in a tool bag. The aluminum construction is lite but tough. Even the lens of the light is set back in the aluminum chassis to help protect it from scratches and drops. The included holster is nice but I doubt I would use it much due to too many things hanging from my belt now, however, the light is such a great size that it fits comfortably in my pocket. Pros: - great size - uses common off-the-shelf batteries (AAA) - tough construction - comfortable light switch conveniently positioned on the tail - the adjustable beam - spot to flood with a quick slide of the light head - perfect color temperature - more true to daylight - 3 light operation, low/high/intermittent (half press of the button for intermittent) Cons: - although the mounted pocket clip is nice, it's more of a nuisance to me, especially when accessing the battery compartment. However, the clip is removable. - the battery compartment cap has fine thread on aluminum. Aluminum can gall easy and the fine thread could make it easier to cross thread. Battery life is about what is stated at about 5+ hours on high with intermittent use.

This review is for Milwaukee Tool rechargeable pivoting flashlight kit, Cat. No.2113-21. This is a new product. It is powered by a REDLITHIUM USB battery. As delivered, it was partially charged. I charged it fully in less than 30 minutes using the USB charging port on my Milwaukee Tool Job Site radio. This product is compact at about 6 inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide with the pivoting lamp head folded. It weighs about 8 oz. It comes with a 2-ft. long, heavy-duty charging cord. Two lamps provide three light modes: 400 lumens flood, 100 lumens flood and 500 lumens spot beam. At the high flood mode, it is expected to run for 3 hours per charge. This is a very handy product from my perspective because it is compact and because of the pivoting head and strong magnetic base. The magnet holds it firmly to any ferrous metal with the pivoting head allowing one to direct light on the subject at hand. It fits nicely into my travel tool kit and has a pocket clip for securing while carrying. As usual for Milwaukee Tool products, this flashlight is sturdily made. It is chemical-, water- and impact-resistant. It has a limited two-year warranty. This is another very welcome addition to may handyman tool collection.

An excellent pocket flashlight from Milwaukee. This model 21.07 unit is variable focus from a tight spot to a wide beam with a pull of the outer ring. The wide beam includes a bright “ring” around an otherwise even field of light, while the narrow beam is tight and powerful. The unit has two brightness levels. The lower level is activated by pressing the on-off switch three times in quick succession (going BRIGHT-OFF-DIM). Wait more than a few seconds after switching OFF and the next push will always go back to full BRIGHT. There is a good metal pocket clip, which certainly won't snap off, but no lanyard hole except in the clip itself. The light uses (and comes with) 3 AAA batteries placed in a “pack” that drops into the flashlight. The entire unit is only 5” long (with barrel extended to the spot light position) and feels great in the hand; knurled texturing on the barrel provides great grip and a comfortable sense of security. There's nothing to dislike about this flashlight (except maybe the higher price) but since it's a Milwaukee you can be sure it will survive under the most severe conditions. I have cheaper and smaller flashlights but this is my favorite.

This has quickly become my flashlight of choice and is part of Milwaukee's USB rechargeable lights that use their RedLithium battery system. The light allows you to use this as a normal flashlight and becomes a work light when you pivot the 110 degree head and set it on its strong magnetic base. There are three modes that allow be on spot or flood high or low light beams, along with three levels of brightness, 500 lumens with the spot beam, 400 lumens while on the high flood beam, and 100 lumens on low flood beam. The run time is 2.5 hours while on the spot beam, 3 hours while on the flood high beam and 10 hours while on the flood low beam. The strong magnetic base if terrific and allows me to stick the base on a steel frame member and pivoting the head exactly where I need light. I prefer the flood high mode while underneath the vehicle as it sends light over a larger area. On the spot light mode the light is focused and can see objects in the dark at a distance of more than 100 yards, the claimed distance is up to 155 meters. The flashlight features a handy pocket clip that fits on my belt making it easy to carry around. The flashlight is rated IP54 meaning it is dust and water resistant. While I have not tested its capability to either it does appear solid and well-built for its 8.18 ounce size. The flashlight comes with an instruction sheet and a 2 foot long USB cable, but no charger. You can plug into any USB charger that you currently use for phones and other devices. Using a 2.1A USB charger it charges up quickly and can see a blinking green LED light that changes to solid green when fully charged. There is a limited lifetime warranty on the flashlight and a 2 year warranty on the battery. This is a great addition to any toolbox or home emergency drawer to keep a well-made and versatile flashlight.

Let me start by saying, I love this little light. It is solidly built and is a quality unit. I have, by mistake, given it the drop test. It has survived and performed without fail. The aluminum construction and knurled handle provide durable features. I am an inspector by trade and have need for a light I can stick into tight spots for a brief moment of illumination. The butt end switch allows you to gently press it for a quick burst of light and will stay on for as long as you hold it, without completely depressing the switch. This is a great feature for what I need. It is a little heavier than a plastic counterpart but that comes with the quality of a much more durable unit. I would buy another in a second.

Now I bought a Caterpillar flashlight for my garage/personal shop. it was functional, but after getting this little jobby, that light will now assume a secondary role. This flashlight is strong, cast a good light, not a light that mutes out what your looking at. I am truly impressed, as always Milwaukee steps up to the plate and get's you all the way to 3rd base easy. As always quality control is unmatched, even the packing was stellar.

It’s a very good improvement over the existing 700 lumen rechargeable flashlight. For one, the head of the light pivots for more flexibility with the light and it has a magnetic base for keeping it in place. It has a typical spot beam but also has a wide flood beam with two levels of brightness for larger coverage. The only things that I don’t love about it is that on its brightest setting, it gets pretty warm around the bulb/lens. It never gets hot enough to cause an injury, but it is noticeable. Also, I think that the battery life is good, but I’d like to see some improvement. Perhaps a larger capacity battery would work. Lastly, I wish there was a way to use the light while it is charging. The moment it recognizes a charging voltage, the light turns off. All things considered, I think it’s worth the money and if something were to happen to it, I’d easily buy it again.

SUMMARY: A GREAT ADDITION TO THE HOUSE TOOLBOX. BACKGROUND: We have several older style flashlights that always seem to need fresh batteries when we need them and have moderate output at best. The chance to get a new-technology multipurpose light was too good to pass up. CONSTRUCTION, FIT AND FINISH: Like all the Milwaukee tools I own, this had that same rugged “use me” feel. Just a little bigger than my old MagLites, it feels good in my hand. The head swivels from straight in line with the body to 90 degrees off axis, and stops anywhere in between. The swivel mechanism feels durable and is snug enough not to flop around. The head is metal with deep heat fins behind the lights. There is a magnet in the base that holds the light tightly to any magnetic surface, perfect for under the hood or in the trunk car work. The flashlight comes with a short USB charging cord but no charger. I used an old phone charger and it worked fine. OPERATION: There are two push buttons, one is for power, the second is for mode. There are two LED lights in the head. The center light is the flashlight bulb/lens. It throws a VERY bright and focused beam. I could easily spot a varmint at my back fence 50 feet away. There is a smaller offset light in the head that functions as a dual-mode floodlight; low, and high power. The mode switch cycles between spot light, high-power floodlight, and low-power floodlight. The power button doesn’t affect the mode, so if you turn the light off in low-power floodlight it will come back on in that mode. When you first turn the light on a status light, just below the USB port, give you a rough indication of the battery charge. I used the light for over an hour on high-power floodlight mode and when I put it back on the charger it fully recharged in just a few minutes. SUMMARY: Now our first-grab flashlight. PROS: Durable, comfortable, three light modes.

This is an incredible little flashlight! It is made of extremely durable aluminum and just the right size to fit in a pocket or clip onto a belt. The button is on the end initially selects the brighter setting (325 lumens), but if quickly cycled will switch to the lower output (25 lumens). This light is extremely bright on the higher setting, as seen in the attached pictures! The sliding lens allows the beam to go from focused to flood. My particular flashlight did not come with a holster, but with the removable clip I am not sure I would ever use it. This light does not have a strobe beam as a tactical flashlight would have, but it is a simple to use and very dependable utility flashlight. It should last a lifetime! I would highly recommend this flashlight!

I love this little flashlight! Great quality flashlight from Milwaukee that can really light up an area. The flashlight is well built and seems like it could really stand up to a beating. The pivot point on the flashlight is well constructed out of good quality materials. I have moved it up and down quite a bit and there still is no play it where it would not stay where you placed it at. The clip on it is very handy along with the magnet they placed on it. It can easily hold itself to a piece of metal. You get great run time with the battery and I believe the battery is rated to take up to 2000 charges prior to failure. I would highly recommend this light, I use mine for all sorts of task like crawling underneath the house to grilling steaks at night. I also like that the light has 3 different modes that you can use on it and the high mode does a good job of lighting up the area you are working in.

I love this flashlight. It is just the right size for me to keep with my tools and use on my DIY projects. The light is POWERFUL - so powerful my dog was afraid of it! Now, at 325 lumens, this may not seem like a bright light as it would be rated somewhere between a traditional 25W and 40W lightbulb. However, since the beam is focused, it is a light brighter than you might think. The flashlight casing is made out of heavy aluminum and will withstand the rigors of the project site. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries (included) and features 2 beam settings (low and high). At the low beam setting you can expect for the batteries to last up to 18 hours but you are only going to get about 25 lumens out of it. At the high beam setting (the full 325 lumens), the battery is not going to last much beyond 5 hours of continuous use. You can switch from low to high beam simply by pushing the button. Another really nice feature is if you slide the head forward and backward it will narrow or widen the beam. I recently used this flashlight on a DIY project where I was replacing a ceiling light. Now, in the past I would have had to lug a floor lamp into the room, running extension cords to a plug that was not on the same circuit as the light fixture being replaced. All this just to see the wiring to replace the light fixture. With this flashlight, I simply placed it on my ladder pointing up and it lit up the entire work area. I was thrilled as I didn't have to go through all that bother just to be able to see what I was doing. And, I love the belt loop feature on the carrying case so that I could just clip the flashlight to my belt and quickly access it while I was on top the ladder. Note, the flashlight itself has a metal pocket clip while the carrying case also has a loop with a snap that you can loop around your belt and snap. The heavy casing also would have protected the flashlight had I dropped it while on the ladder (it has a 12 foot drop test rating). Fortunately, I did not have to test that particular aspect! Designed and built by Milwaukee, a company I have grown to absolutely love. We have a wide range of Milwaukee products sold through Home Depot and I can honestly say they are my favorite tools and items in my collection. So well made, so well designed.

As usual, Milwaukee has done it again with another fantastic rechargeable flashlight. I was impressed with the first one I ordered, and this one offered a few additional features, namely: (1) a magnetic base that truly holds the flashlight in place. (2) a pivoting head to allow for a variety of non-handheld applications, whether attached to a steel beam in a workplace or simply standing on its end, illuminating something in front of it. (3) TrueView lighting, which Milwaukee isn't very clear about in its marketing, but appears to mean that it emits a white light, rather than yellow or blue. Interestingly, this flashlight is actually two flashlights in one, as the spot and flood are completely separate bulbs, unlike most flashlights, which use a sliding focus lens. They are rated for the following runtimes: (1) Spotlight (outputting the bulb's full 500 lumens): 2.5 hours (2) high wide-angle flood (400 lumens): 3 hours (3) low wide-angle flood (100 lumens): 10 hours Now, Milwaukee markets this as "all day run-time", but that's a bit of hyperbole. My wife and I agreed that the low beam was pretty much useless, except perhaps for providing illumination of a tent at night or a room during a blackout. It's not even bright enough to use for walking outdoors in the dark, in part because it's so wide that it provides little illumination right where you're stepping. I was also a little disappointed in the instruction manual, which was clearly written for a different product. It referred to use and care of the charger, which this flashlight doesn't come with at all. In fact, you have to provide your own, and it better be pretty stout in order to charge the big lithium ion battery in a reasonable amount of time. I used a 2-amp phone charger, and it got pretty hot while charging, which means it was working pretty hard. With all that said, I'm still impressed by this flashlight, and its two high-beam modes (spot and flood) are indeed incredibly bright. With all of this said, if you don't need the magnetic base or the tilting head, Milwaukee Model # 2110-21 may be a better overall choice (it offers higher lumens and longer battery life, along with a lower price).

This flashlight comes with a nylon holster. The holster has a flap on top that uses velcro to close the top over the flashlight. There's a metal button that is on the other side to affix to one's belt. The flashlight comes with a pocket clip, which is strong. The rear cap has a rubber covering over the on-off button. Clicking the on-off button is audible, not silent. The shaft of the flashlight is knurled. The satin finish is nice. The lens section of the flashlight can be slid forwards and backwards to adjust the beam. When the lens is slid toward the on-off button, it is wide beam. When the lens is slid away from the on-off button, it is narrow beam. As for brightness, this is very nice. I have another flashlight that also uses 3 AAA batteries and multiple round LED bulbs, and this flashlight, at high-power, outperforms it. This flashlight has one square LED bulb. I've attached pictures of using the flashlight in a dark room, which are attached to this review. When you press the on-off button, you get the low-power beam first. When you release and press the on-off button, you get the high-power beam. You cannot select to have high or low, you just need to double-press if you don't get the power you want at first. For that reason, I do not recommend this to first-responders who will want it at high-power first always. For a DIYer, construction worker, someone who works in crawl spaces or attics without lighting, this is great.

*My new favorite flashlight. Very Recommended.* If you’re tired of those everyday bargain bin mini flashlights that come in bulk quantity and you want to step it up to a much nicer quality product than this Milwaukee is for you. Build quality of this light is just excellent. The entirety of it is made of a high grade aluminum with a nice thick rubber button on one end and a very thick and durable lens on the other. I have a hard time believing I’ll ever break this flashlight. It’s rated for multiple drops and is waterproof in addition to being dustproof. The included holster also appears to be well made with strong stitchings, good velcro, and a firm snap button to attach it to your belt. Performance of this light has met and exceeded my expectations. Beam adjustment is easy to do, you pull the head of the light out to switch from flood to spot. On high beam this is one of the brightest mini lights I’ve used. I’m not entirely sure what they are doing with this TRUEview tech they are using, I almost want to say that it’s a warmer than average light, regardless though what I can say it is a very bright and defined light that you can immediately notice a difference with. On flood mode I can nearly fill up my entire backyard with light while spot mode easily meets the rated 377 feet. As for the low beam, its definitely much dimmer yet plenty adequate for most situations if you want to save on the battery. The metal clip attachment can be removed if you don’t need it, I found it to be quite useful though so on it stays. As for the holster, this is one part of the product where I’m not sure that I’ll need it or not. It works just fine though. Do note that Milwaukee sells this same light without the holster at a lower price. Battery life met and exceeded the rated runtime. I set the light to high, went out and did some stuff, and after coming back in well over 5 hours later it was still kicking. Shortly after though it did finally run out. I also want to add that I appreciate the inclusion of 3 name brand AAA batteries. I very much recommend this flashlight. The difference between this and other cheaper lights I have is just night and day. This product is obviously designed for the trades yet as just a DIY guy I’ve gotten plenty of use out of this tool and it’s instantly become my new go-to.

The Milwaukee 500-Lumen LED Pivoting Rechargeable Flashlight is as solid and well built as my other Milwaukee USB lighting tools!! This unit has "Spot" and "Flood" features. Offering 3 settings (500 lumen Spot-2.5 hrs run time, 400 lumen Flood-3 hrt and 100 lumen Flood-10 hrt) of natural daylight even color flood brilliance (5K kelvin), the LED source is efficient and effective for whatever my task maybe! I really like the mode switch choice between a great spot or flood source, giving me an immediate all-in-one lighting tool...Very Convenient!! The pivoting LED head range of 110 degrees offers a spot or flood of light right at my project work and the magnetic base allows mounting on my metal work tool surfaces! The large pocket clip keeps it stored securely on my belt or in my tool pouch. The quick USB charge time and selectable outputs means steadier and quicker job completions...perfect for my DIY, homeowner and workshop task!!

What an awesome little flashlight this is. Don't let the size of this full you. It's very bright, and the beam give a nice coverage area. The casing is metal, and had a really nice grip to it. My boy actually dropped this on the concrete floor twice, and no damage was found. This also has a duel beam function, so if you don't want the light blaring at something your reading, just click the button, and it will lower to 25 lumen. I also really like the clip this has, so no worries on misplacing it. All in all, small big things do sometimes come in small packages. I love it!

This new pivoting Milwaukee flashlight is simply awesome. I just can't get over how bright this little thing is! Its a rechargeable light, so that's a huge plus for me as I hate changing out batteries all the time. The light itself is impressive to say the least. The unit has a mode button that will change the beam from a spotlight style beam, to a softer floodlight style beam. All you need to do is push the button, and adjust which style light fits you best. As for build, its is heavy duty. They also placed a very strong magnet on the bottom of this unit that will stick to just about any metal. I also love the pivoting head as it allows you to focus on the area you need light the most. It;s simply awesome!

        Best flashlight I've used
I had purchased this same light multiple times (mostly because I keep losing them). I really like how it has a very strong magnet on the bottom and I'm able to tilt the head forward. It comes in handy when I'm working on a refrigeration system.
