Had this vacuum for about three weeks when the powered floor tool broke. The replacement is a little more than half of three cost of the bare tool. I'm going to Gorilla Glue it back together and try to reinforce it but I don't have high hopes. It's by far my last favorite Milwaukee tool. I'll try to update this after the fix.

The hinge on the powerhead broke after three uses. Reached out to Milwaukee about getting a replacement powerhead Via the contact us on their website and didn’t get a response.

The vacuum works well but the upright attachment broke at the base due to thin plastic on the second use. Surprised at such poor engineering from Milwaukee.

Vacuum is ik but not good on carpet.

We use it in our garage and basement. I thought it would be perfect for dog hair in our garage, but the hair plugs it up.

I would love this product due to its ease of use and excellent power/suction. However my compact vac has had a horrific squealing sound coming from the filter cover and it’s vibration during use. I can tighten/loosen the filter cover a tad but it’s only a temporary fix before it’s ear piercing scream starts up again. Thought it would have worked the kink out in its own but has not. Very disappointed in that we love the many other Milwaukee products we own. Just not this one.

This vacuum is overly top heavy. It's very tough on a person with wrist of shoulder issues. I wish that I could return it.

Not up to standards. This vacuum clogs faster than my typical home vacuum and I was hoping to be able to use it in my home. The filter needed to be untwisted a bit to avoid a high pitched squeeling. I rarely used it, I only have hard wood floors and a couple of rugs. The last time I used it, it died after 10 months of random use.

This needs to be revised. Not sure why it is "top rated" on here. Many bad reviews mentioning the same problems. I'll start by saying that having a replable inexpensive true hepa cartridge filter is a must. It does clog on the pre-filter side. The opposite side of the filter has an access cover to clean it out. It is designed to keep the hepa filter from clogging which is needed to avoid expensive filter replacement often. However, it does clog often and it annoying to stop and clean out all the time, especially for things like dog hair. I still prefer this over replacing a $30 filter once a week though. It just needs a more effective design. I find the the red powered floor adapter is the most annoying. It constantly locks in the up position while vacuuming, and you have to manually push it back down to the floor all the time. Yes, I want it to lock when in the upright position for storage, but not every 30 seconds while vacuuming. The hose and attachment holder is also poor. The hose is constantly falling down. The hepa filtration is a must, but it seems like the clear basket that holds the debri doesn't seal properly where the bottom releases to empty it. Needs a better seal and tighter lock to seal up. Finally, the unit is just heavy, large, and not balanced properly for a stick vacuum. It is nice that it can sit down with the wands detached but just feels awkward while using it as a stick vacuum. The snap together wands are a nice feature. Just needs to be revised badly. I really wish that I would have returned it before the 90 days.

Love it i have my work shop i do auto shop and 4x4 shop and custom fabrication and i love it i pick up from metal shavings to metal dust from cnc plasma cutter to dirt and pick up perfect i just wish there was a bigger filter

Suction was not as strong as I had expected or hoped.

Pros: Good power, light weight. Useful accessories. Perfect size for quick jobs. Cons: Powered floor attachment catches in the upright storage position too easily during use.

I own a commercial cleaning company and i like how versatile this vacuum can be for our cleaner and is also cordless so they don’t have to worry about dragging extensions cords The bad thing about this vacuum is how heavy is on the handle and how fragile is the carpet attachment every 6 months i have to be replacing either the vacuum cause the motor stop working or the hose on the attachment get pull out of the attachment head and isn’t cover under warranty and a new attachment is $125

This is a convenient little tool and love the M18 system, but overall not the best vacuum. I wished it had a better way to stand upright on its own and a better storage system. Also if it had only one head with a switch to turn off the beater brush it would be better than swapping the heads. It almost feels like Milwaukee just wanted to make a vacuum but didn't plan it out as well as their other tools.

Bought it for the car but now I am using it in the whole house! The only downside is you better hurry up! With an XC6.0 High Output it wont last more than 25 minutes!

Pros: portability, attachments and convenience. Cons: less power than I expected. Heavy battery drain. Overall good jobsite vacuum for quick cleanups. Not recommended to replace your household vacuum.

Great Item absolutely love it I take it to work clean my car during lick time. Use it in the house also. just Love it...
