bought this trimmer several months ago , finally tried it out today. wow , 100% impressed , cut threw branches on my big honeysuckle bushes like butter. it turned a long job into a fast easy job. last year it took me two hours by hand , finished in 30 minutes. love this hedge trimmer. highly recommend all milwaukee products. i now own this trimmer , a chainsaw, a vacuum cleaner, a jig saw, a circular saw, a impact gun, a sander and two fans. the products are fantastic.

Melted the battery housing around the contact area of both an 8 AH and 5AH batteries. This trimmer is not eligible for ship in repair, so I took it to the nearest service location. The service center said 8AH was too large for this trimmer, so they exchanged the 8AH for a 5AH. Shop held the trimmer for about 2 months, said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I won't risk destroying more batteries with this trimmer, just a bad, experience.

String does not feed well. Binds up on itself on the spool. Very heavy, needs to come with harness.

Milwaukee products are always top quality. Worth every penny. I bought the hedge trimmer accessory for this as well. Easy to attach and works fantastic.

Milwaukee trimmer spools up very quickly and has a lot of torque.

The hedge trimmer worked very well and since I have a couple of 5Ah batteries I have no problem running out of power.

Charged in 15 minutes. Great power.

This is a quality trimmer for sure, as one would expect from Milwaukee. I have used it three times since buying it about a month ago. It's heavy compared to my gas-powered Honda trimmer. The 2nd concern is with excessive vibration even at lower speeds. My right forearm was feeling it by the time I was finished. I can see this would be a big problem for anyone using it several hours a day. Definitely something the Ergonomists at Milwaukee need to figure out.

Trimmer is only four months old .The trimmer head is worn out. Trimmer seems to over heat batteries Milwaukee makes good products, but would never recommend this one. Also bought a blower which works perfectly. I called Milwaukee’s customer service. They want me to take the trimmer to Hayward to get it looked at. It is a difficult commute for me to get to Hayward.

We purchased this tool to trim hedges when we need to install AC condensers. The hedge trimmers were very sharp and powerful. Absolutely love this tool!
