The price for this product is astronomical and unreasonable.

Seems to dissolve quicker than other less expensive softeners when both are set to 35 measurement. However, the water rinses soap better.

Great product. Lasts a long time in our Rheem unit and does not “bridge”.

Works well, but is super expensive. There are other cheaper products out there that also get the job done equally well.

Definitely better than the Canadian product but expensive. Pellets dissolve more evenly than “chunks” of KCl rock.

Excellent choice for water softening. Potassium lowers blood pressure, so it’s superior to sodium chloride for those with hypertension. Potassium chloride pellets for water-softening are, however, overpriced.

QUALITY PRODUCT AT A RELATIVELY REASONABLE PRICE

The pallets worked out fine but they went out way too fast. I bought 5 bags and they are gone within 6 weeks. Same amount of regular salt pallets can last at least a few months. Given I have to pay $200 for 6 weeks vs. $50 for 4-5 months, I will not buy this potassium salt. I called the water softener company. They confirmed potassium runs faster than regular salt.

We use this rather than plain salt (sodium chloride), as we have 65 gpg hard water. The idea is getting some extra potassium is preferable to the amount of sodium if we used plain salt. The product works fine, our softener allows setting it to use potassium (KCl), water taste is good, reduction of deposits compared to non-softened water is obvious.

Using potassium in my home is better for watering plants and drinking. Ty
