      A:  Yes, you can use the cleanser on hybrid softener models containing activated carbon media. Please refer to your manual for cleanser recommendations.

          A:  You can begin using soft water again immediately after the regeneration cycle ends. If your tap water appears to have an unusual taste, smell, or discoloration, simply run cold water for a few minutes until it clears up.

            Easy Maintenance, that can extend the warranty
            Our Rheem Preferred Platinum Plus alerted us right on schedule. Unit reminded us it was time to add the Rheem cleaner (A four month interval had passed since we installed our unit, To reset the timer, press any button on the control panel and “CLEAn” will disappear). This simple maintenance is very easy to do. Unscrew the top of the cleaning solution bottle pour in the Brinewell tube inside the softener. Hold the recharge button until the motor kicks in. I like this product because the 1-year warranty can be extended up to 5 years with regular use of the Rheem water softener cleaner.
