it's a great natural color and appears to do well with repelling water and making the deck look newer. Suppose I should follow up on this review in 3 years considering that's what they guarantee it for.

I had my 30 year old deck power-washed last year and used this product to protect it. I love the color. I resurfaced the railings this summer because they were fading. I hadn't had the deck done for a while because of my husband's illness. I will have to reapply this product next year because it has faded some. I am happy with the product because it helped to make my deck look beautiful again.

What can I say? It is just a sealant for my deck. Olympic is a good product. Deck came out looking well. Holds up pretty good, but usually clean and reapply every 3 or so years on the decking.

Great product for protecting newly cut ends of all outdoor wood used for decks, outdoor buildings and fences. I have used this product for more than four years and continue to use it for my own projects.

Do Not Waste Your Money
Olympic makes a great deck cleaner, but their WaterGuard Sealer is absolutely worthless. I will not go into a long description of my experience. There aren't enough words to express my anger and disappointment when dealing with the outcome of using this product on my deck. Just don't buy it.

I had high hopes and continue to use this but it doesn't seem to last much over a year before water makes it through to the wood.

Looks like milk but dries clear and protects water. I would recommend this wood sealer.

Easy to apply with pump sprayer. Only complaint is that the actual stain was much darker than the picture on the label.

It does not enhance the grain of the wood and it leaves a milky-white dull sheen. I applied it to newly cleaned wood after 48hrs of dry time…it looks horrible. Now I get to sand it off - ugh. Don’t buy this.

Olympic Waster Guard-Transparent Exterior Stain and Sealer is a great product. It was easy to apply, and the cleanup of my tools used to apply this product and my hands was super easy. I've so far used 4 gal.
