I now have replace 5 of my Orbit hose timers with B-hive units, some singles, doubles & 4’s! Really like the single Ap that can control all the locations

Smart hose is a great idea. The product worked fine no issues in the beginning. Now it started flooding my backyard at random. Money wasted. Water wasted

Bluetooth is sketchy at best.

I bought this to use where we are on water restriction of two days per week on Thursday and Sunday. I discovered when I tried to program it that you cannot specify a particular day of the week to water. You can only select everyday, every 2 days, every 3 days, etc. I had to return it.

Very good water timer does all we need for our lawn.

I like the app. I have not had any issues with B-hyve bluetooth. I wish that it offered better instructions on how to program the device. But after working with it for a little while was able to figure it out.

The system is fantastic… Program for watering; then forget it… If manual watering needs to happen, operate the system from your phone while sitting on the couch… We have 3 units that take care of about 99% of our yard… GREAT SYSTEM…

I bought this timer to add to my system and give coverage to the rest of my yard and garden areas. Installation and configuration was easy and it joined right into my hub controller. So far, both controllers and the hub have worked flawlessly. Biggest question at this point is how long the batteries will last, but at least the app will keep my informed.

timer worked fine for ~3 months. No battery issues, etc. Yet now, it starts the sprinkler zones at arbitrary times. Reset unit at least 4 times but problem persists. Ridiculous. Better off turning sprinklers on manually.

2 months after installing this product, it began to leak at the point where the unit connects to the main spigot. The only thing I can see is a defective washer/filter. It's now leaking so badly I can no longer use the product. When I reached out to Orbit, I spent more than 2 hours on hold. Once I got a rep, it was 1 hour of trying to 'find' the b-hyve product as listed above, as it is no longer on the Orbit product website. Once I sent him some HD screenshots and my proof of purchase, the rep promised me that they would ship me a new unit. I never got a confirmation, and I haven't gotten the unit. The product is poor, and their customer service even moreso. Don't bother with this company.

Doesn’t work with WIFI programming. Worked for 1 week then crashed. I’ll stick with simple/traditional mechanical timer.

This was easy to program and set up. It allows 3 times for each outlet allowing water to soak in before the next round reducing runoff.

I have 2 timers and the wi-fi hub. They malfunction and make it where automatic watering is delayed for 1100+ days. To top it off they won't even run manual watering. The issue is obviously an app issue since they both do the exact same thing even after removing them and reinstalling. Customer support is a joke. I wouldn't suggest Orbit B-hyve to my worst enemy. RUN!

Junk. The digital controls did not work. Returned immediately. Apparently can't leave NO STARS.

The app does not work and if you try to use the app to set up the config then it locks the manual settings. Would not recommend this device.

The idea is great, and the timer was great for about 2 weeks. Then one of the internal valves broke and was stuck in the open position. I've tried restarting the device, manually toggling that zone, and running a program. It just won't turn off anymore. Also, the app needs a major overhaul. If you set up a manual water, 50% of the time you won't see it on the app after you hit start. There is some serious work that needs to be done to make the app actually functional for this product.

So practical. Love the bluetooth feature. Easy to program.

First off I hate the watering options on this timer. There is an option to water every 1 hour. Why would you ever want to water every hour? When setting timer for the first time, especially in the sun when you see the 1 you assume it's every 1 day. I went away for a long weekend thinking it would water 40 minutes once a day but instead it watered 40 minutes every hour. I am luck my well did not run dry. Then after 1 month of use I noticed my berry plants with a drip hose were watering all day. This zone valve was now stuck open so I had to buy a screw on cap to close off that valve which now made my 4 zone timer a 3 zone timer. 1 month later another zone was watering all day and same thing another valve was stuck open. If you want to kill your garden or whatever else you are using this for go ahead and buy this useless timer. I now have to go through the hassle of coming up with a receipt so I can get a warranty replacement I am not even sure I want.

So far so good. No isuse at all. It supports bluetooth. You can control it it from your phone, which is very convient in the rainly day.

Did not know it needs a wi-fi adapter to work properly

Out of the box it comes with Bluetooth which makes it a lot easier to turn off when it’s raining! The programming interface is not all that intuitive but, once it’s figured out, is not all that difficult to work with. For the price it’s a great solution!

Got moisture inside within a week and it died.

Has worked great for a season and a half. Bought the Wi-Fi adapter this spring to control the time while away from home and it’s worked great. As far as I’m concerned, if it lasts 2 seasons and then I have to replace it, it’s still a good buy.
