Difficult to tighten the screws enough to to prevent leaking.

The hose leaks as the grip is not even across the circumference

The clamps were too small for them to touch on both sides. Yes they were the right size for the application. Yes I have made many hose repairs in the past.

Home Depot had just what I was looking for!

I chose it over the plastic alternative one. It clamps down tight with the screws and it worked fine.

This hose mender was easy to install. My hose works perfect now!

Works as expected. The threaded portion fits great inside of the hose, the clamp portion took some extra effort to get lined up and secured properly on the 3/4 hose. This small issue would not prevent me from using the product again in the future if needed.

Repaired a hose so that did not have to discard. Works well. Recommend.

The clamp only works on thin hoses; anything thicker and you have to supply a hose clamp. The threaded portion would not stay engaged when moving the hose with pressure applied. It was not the mating part since that works with all my other hoses. I suspect the threads on this are undersized.

it has only been on my hose for a week and it is already starting to corrode. just like the previous one I bought.

This is a premium hose mender. It works much better than the plastic ones I have used before.

Good well made hose end

Great fitting but clamps don't fit over thick hoses. So, clamp wouldn't close but did seal.

This was a replacement for another one which was exactly the same. The brass nipple broke on the first one when I dropped the hose on the driveway. It looks like it was inferior quality. Unfortunately, there really aren’t any better alternatives out there these days. I guess “they just don’t make things like they used to.”

It really works great. Make sure the hose covers totally the end of the receptacle.
