Excellent light bulb with soft light.

Works well with soft color. My torche lamp uses two of these dimmable bulbs - one would have been adequate for the light, but there were two bulb sockets in this particular lamp. The bulbs dim/brighten smoothly. As with all LEDs, they are bottom heavy. I am pleased with the purchase.

Needed a bright light for a floor lamp in a living room. This was perfect.

Very warm light but not as bright as my old incandescent.

Very bright. Dimmer functionality is smooth. The size of the bulbs are a bit bigger than the normal size, so be aware for fixtures with tight space.

The lights are the perfect color and brightness for our patio.

Performs as expected

Finally, an excellent LED light bulb! Philips got it right with this one. Dims way down like an incandescent with a true warm glow. No buzz or flicker with my Lutron wall dimmer. Glass stays cool but driver in base of bulb gets super hot so best to use in ceramic socket. Not for use in totally enclosed, recessed or flush mounted fixtures.

These are really great bulbs. Throw a lot of light.

Pairing this bulb with a lamp socket with dimmer switch is a great replacement for a 3-way fixture and bulb. I got a couple of these to replace 2 Chinese 150-W-equivalent LED bulbs that were nice while they lasted, but which both failed long before their rated life. Only time will tell if these last as claimed, but I've had one in use for about 6 months, 6-8 hours/day, with no issues so far. I think the color temperature is ideal for a lamp. The light dims smoothly and I've experienced no flicker. At full brightness, the light seems at least as bright as a 150-W incandescent. All in all, I'm completely satisfied.

I originally purchased "Energetic" brand 150-watt equivalent LED bulbs for my living room lamps. They were very bright and energy efficient, but turned out to be not compatible with my X-10 home control system, so I had to return them. The Philips soft white bulbs are almost as bright, but they use more energy. The Energetics use 21 watts while the Philips uses 29 watts. However, I much prefer the "warm glow" that the Philips bulbs produce when they are dimmed. Overall, I prefer the Philips bulbs, but my main concern is longevity. I have read quite a few reviews that mention premature failure. Anyway, I already ordered and received a second bulb and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Flickers/pulses, poor quality or defective? Wish I could exchange it for a replacement

Nice and bright, with that warm glow, not the stark blue light that some LED bulbs have. One needs to pay attention to the color scale when purchasing LED bulbs.

Used in the bathroom fixture. Not a whole lot of usage. First impressed, last disappointed.

BRIGHT white bulb - just what I wanted. If you are looking for a soft daylight bulb this is not for you.
