[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the slate grey, monterray square planter a few weeks ago and it is the talk of the town! This planter looks like authentic stone but it is as light as an empty moving box. I love the fact that the planter looks like real solid, stone! It is very wide and deep so I can plant variety of flowers or vegetables as the need arises. The planter also makes excellent decor on its own too! The inside of the planter has a small drain hole to facilitate easy drainage and it also looks very high-end and polished. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and I would definitely recommend it.

It’s a large item, but I unboxed it easily. The quality is superb. It looks like it could be a concrete planter. Although it is not, it is sturdy and durable. It is a pleasant add to the aesthetics of my screened in porch. I love it and I believe I need one more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This planter is really lightweight, yet feels extremely sturdy and well built. It’s the perfect size for a small tree, or to fill with perennials. The outside has a stucco like texture and the inside is painted black. There is a nice sized drainage hole at the bottom. I love this planter so much that I just bought a second one for my new pineapple guava trees.

Still in box but removed to look at it. Disappointed in that there were no drainage channels as advertised. Invested a lot of money for this and the drainage channels were important to me. So, this showed a feature that I did not get. Guess pictures don't necessarily represent the product. Can someone make this right? Otherwise, very attractive and very well packaged.

This is a very interesting product, and would definitely be ideal in some situations. It has the look of a concrete planter, which is great for more urban areas, and yet it weighs about as much as a plastic planter of the same size. That makes it very easy to move. It appears to be made of an advanced foam material, and the outside of it is hardened to prevent damage. The interior is actually somewhat pliable, and could probably be damaged if you took a sharp tool to it. I have two concerns, however, from an aesthetic viewpoint. The first is that it the planter has a stucco look, and was far bumpier than I thought it would be. Even brushing against it accidentally might leave you with a bit of a scratch. I think it would be nicer if it were a smooth concrete-like material. Second of all, the color name is pretty inaccurate. It's just a dark grey, despite being called "urban bronze". I was so shocked by this that I had the manufacturer send out a second sample, and sure enough, it's the same grey. I'm actually really surprised no other reviewer has posted a photo of the product. The first thing that struck me was that it wasn't a bronze color, but I guess others aren't bothered by this. I'm posting a photo so everyone knows exactly what this planter looks like. One piece of good news is that the material is paintable with any outdoor house paint, so you can actually make it any color you'd like. Overall, I think this is an innovative product if the urban concrete look appeals to you, but it's quite expensive, and in the end isn't the most attractive planter I've seen. If you're interested in the planter due to its design, durability and lightweight, consider some of the other colors, which look more interesting to me.

Can’t wait to add a plant to it this spring. It’s lightweight yet made of good materials. Has a nice selection of colors and sizes to pick from too! Would highly recommend.

Plenty of room to display beautiful flowers and plenty of capacity for roots to spread. Love the ease of filling and draining so I don't overwater. Not too heavy but definitely sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in live with the Monterrey Square Slate Gray planter. It's the perfect size for my large banana tree. The planter is heavy! No cheap plastic here! I would have 100 % recommend this planter for anyone needing one for a larger tree.

Very nice planter. Exactly as described. Not heavy, but appears sturdy. Too soon to say if it wears well. Mine will sit outside in the hot sun, so time will tell. The sides are about 2 inch thick so make allowance for the lack of the inside dimensions. Looks expensive. Very pleased with my purchase.

Sturdy planter exceeded my expectations in quality and styling. Planted bamboo in 3 planters and tall grass in the 4th. I like the feature that they are paintable and insulated hopefully they will protect the plants from the summer heat and the winter freeze.

All six of the planters arrived without a dent or scratch. Very well packed! They are lightweight and a great size for my fig trees. Very nice addition to backyard living space.

These are exactly what we've been looking for. We ordered five of them in two sizes. We had already had a custom concrete planter built since we couldn't find things like this for a reasonable price. These match the real concrete very well. It's a very professional look. Have only unpacked one of them but it looks great in the sun. Can't wait to get them all set up. They are shipped in a double wall box with edge guards. They were on sale when we bought them and we had a 10% home depot couple so we went for it and bought five. Very happy that we did.

Very happy with the planters. A friend already commented on how good they look!
