Expensive product (aren’t all pool products!) but performs exactly as advertised. One capful added to chlorine and shock finished clarifying my 20,000 gallon pool. Will defiantly continue using and purchase again.

Originally purchased this when I unexpectedly ran out of Leslie Pool's clarifier. It is half the cost and uses less clarifier for the same or better results. I'm all for save buck especially when the end result is the same.

Cleared my water when other stuff could not.
I mistakenly added too much algicide which clouded my water. I was told I needed to drain most of the water. I used a clarifier which did not work and then tried MaxBlue. It took a couple of days, but the water turned clear and I vacuumed floc. off of the bottom.

Max Blue Clarifier. I guess my pool got cloudy (white) from calcium in the pool shock. Got cloudy overnight after I shocked it and has been cloudy all month. I followed directions on the bottle, and it seems to be working. Was finally able to see the bottom of the deep end so I could vacuum properly. Yes, I need to get the chemicals in balance again. But this was a nice improvement.

Made my water blue
I will not use this product again. Made my pool water worse by giving it a slight blue tint. Since I do not have a blue pool, mine is pebble Tec, it just looked worse then when I started. I am slowly getting it clear again by rinsing the "blue" out of my filter every day.

    MacBlue Clarifier
Apparently I’m the only person not to have good results with this product. I tried dosing the pool twice within a week with the initial shock treatment (3 caps of product per 16,000 gallonsI with no affect

Hi Cybersquid, We are the manufacturer of Pool Time products. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that your recent experience with our MAXBlue Clarifier did not meet your expectations. Our MAXBlue Clarifier contains two clarifying agents that act as a dual action maintenance clarifier. We recommend adding 12 ounces per 20,000 gallons (or about 10 ounces for your 16,000 gallon pool) initially, followed by weekly maintenance doses of 4 ounces per 20,000 gallons (or about 3 ounces for your 16,000 gallon pool) weekly. After adding the product to the pool, it is important to allow your pump and filter to run for at least 12 hours. For best results, we always recommend using the product in accordance with label directions. If you would like assistance troubleshooting your pool's cloudy water concerns or if you have any other pool care related questions, please give us a call at 1-800-SOS-POOL (767-7665). Thank you.
