Hi ah. We are the manufacturer of PoolTime products. The MaxBlue Clarifier will clump up fine particulates together to increase the likelihood of them being caught on the filter. Running the pool as much as possible, cleaning the filter media only when the pressure builds up inside the filter (evident by a decreasing return jet flow) and adjusting main drain and skimmer values (if present) to certain positions can increase the effectiveness of the clarifier. Keep in mind some cloudiness may not be filterable and only oxidizable so sustaining a high chlorine level for 48-72 hrs could be a possible solution.
