wasn't able to find any 2 1/4inch replacement shower door handles in Home Depot store in Lakeland customer service guy was helpful & made suggestion to order online, handle fits perfectly thank you.

It is and does what it says. Note that some versions are 2" spacing for the screws and some versions are 2 1/4" spacing for the screws even though the handle is the same. The one in stock at HD is 2" and may not fit your door.

The chrome set was just what I needed and has replaced the damaged pair.

Very sturdy and durable. Matches well with the shower door.

The handle was a perfect fit-what a relief! Easy to install.

I just bought my third handle today to replace the one that has broken twice before. If you look at the 2" version you will see that the screw is centered in the casting. To get this to fit a 2-1/4 opening, they took the exact same handle and moved the holes 1/8" outwards on both sides leaving way too little metal to keep this from cracking over and over again. Then they countersunk the hole to leave even less metal there! Since it's only the side with the screw holes that breaks, I'm planning on taking the side with the post and grinding down the post and then drilling a hole just large enough for the screw and not countersinking it. Then I'll attach it with a pan head screw which will put much less stress on this chromed pot metal cast piece of junk.

I am not a handy person but found it easy to install this shower door handle.

Product was received during expected time frame. It was actually the wrong size, so I called the online customer service and they instructed me to take back to local store for a refund. I was able to do so and also order the right size. The right one fits perfectly and was super easy to install.

The original shower door handle broke after a mere 25+yrs of use. Purchased this replacement which perfectly fit and was very easy to assemble. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Just received my replacement shower door handles - I went with HD because the photo led me to believe they came with back plates - they however, are not in the package. HD may want to get rid of the photo - since it is misleading and I could have bought the same Prime Line hardware at another chain for less $$$$ Standard quality for replacement hardware - just being used until we can afford to replace the shower.
