The product looks nice, but several of the rails were warped.

Easy to install

Worked just fine, with some imperfection cuts, top rails started to crack after installation but should hold up with the Thompson water seal and stain treatments.

Easy to install. Love the look and quality of cedar. Ordered matching cedar 4x4 posts but could not order more posts as they are now not available. Lucky I did not make any mistakes cutting.

Great product!

Ordered 4 kits, 3 where good but stair kit had a bow in rail making it hard to work with. Good thing I had a good carpenter to work out. But overall look is good and would redo with same idea.

This project took much additional effort for me. Partly because our deck dimensions were non-standard and partly because the rail boards had warp and WOW which required quite a lot of adjusting. The boards felt damp, like they hadn/\'t been stacked and dried. At the end of the project the railing is installed, but required more planning and physical ( twisting and bending) effort than I had assumed looking at the web page.

The rails had several large knots. Some knots were loose knots.

Installed 18 sections of this product for a customer, right out of the packaging many were very crooked and coming apart,had to add screws to all the handrail pieces.The mounting brackets are plastic I feel they should be metal for stability also the brackets should surround the ends to allow you to leave room for expansion. After installing this product came back the next day (rained that night) one section had bowed out about 2 1/2 inches and the ballisters were falling out. These aren’t the most expensive rails out there I know but they ain’t cheap in price either

quality control is poor. my rail arrived with a crack in one of the horizontal rails. i decided to glue and clamp the crack and yes it shows. I like the product but am disappointed that the company would send this product with this defect

Wood is poor quality... head to use wood filler in multiple areas. Not the straightest boards either..But it did the job... at a decent price.

Looks great, no issues with damaged or warped rail with exception of one lower rail - was not an issue. The cedar wood quality was much better than what I expected based on some other reviews. Easy assembly except for aligning the top rail with the metal balusters. By the third rail assembly we figured it out, and assembly went quicker. Very happy with out purchase. Highly recommend this cedar rail kit.

The wood was very warped. And routed incorrect along the top rail.

The product itself was very nice, and i am very happy with it. The process to actually get the right product to my home was awful. It took weeks and weeks, they sent me the wrong product multiple times, the number of phone calls and hoops I had to jump through to get the problems resolved was just ridiculous. Not sure if it is a Home Depot issue or the 3rd party company that they deal with, but the process was awful

We used indoors and still looks really good quality. Easy to install.

It came damaged, un assembled, it arrived separately because the boxes were so damaged they couldn't read address. Boxes half open. No packing in boxes. Took it all back.

End cuts were not square so had to trim first.

I wouldn't recommend the product because it looks more pressure treated than yellow pine. I was hoping you got rid of the pressure treated green stains.

Super easy to install

Fits well, the bottom is a little high, since I’m using it as safety railing in a loft it’s kind of scary. But otherwise it looks good and super easy to assemble.

I want to do 2 different reviews. First the employees of both the Helena Home Depot and the online employees were great. The product itself was not. I sent back more kits than I installed as the kits came in with boards so badly warped and twisted they were unusable. Home Depot would do well to talk to the vendor about the product. This resulted in a 2 week project turning into 2 months as I ended up sending back product on 3 different occasions. The wood screws stripped easily and broke of easily

The product looks good and is fairly easy to install, however, about 50% of the wood pieces were severely warped, to the point where it wasn't possible to join the top rail together.

Horrible. 5 boxes out of 5, broken open an parts missing. Still waiting for refund so I can order something.

Worked perfectly for what we wanted

put this up to please our insurance co.; didn't really want it; but now that its up, it looks great. This kit made it go faster than if we had made some ourselves. Very happy with the results

I ordered 5 of these rail kits. They arrived on time, but 3/5 of the kits had missing parts (one didn't have enough of the aluminum rails, 2 others were missing the hardware kits). I needed to cut a couple shorter than 6 feet, so I ended up with enough rails. But, I had to use other parts to replace the missing hardware kits. I got the job done, but missing pieces in 3/5 of the kits is totally unacceptable.
