Easy to assemble and very thing is included in kit, the brackets, screws, & support blocks

These rails arrived late from the factory but Home Depot gave us some money back to compensate. We purchased with the deck rail kits. Many of the boards were twisted and nearly impossible to install. Some holes were misaligned, but we got it done and it does look good for the most part. Some of the brackets had to be forced into place so they're not necessarily even with the opposing one. I don't think it's too noticeable.

For someone who has no experience putting together a deck, this kit was easy to follow. That said… Save yourself and buy actual 3.5 inch star-shaped deck screws. The ones with this kit are PHILIPS HEADS. They stripped immediately. I lost my sanity so quickly. Also, these metal ballisters are a nightmare to put in and then load the top hand railing in. It’s a two person job. Finally I had some warped wood for these kits that I had to straighten out.

Just installed them and they look great. surprisingly easy install.

I bought two of the 6’ sections. I actually should have returned but only had a weekend to complete. Upon opening and laying everything out the 2x4’s were warped and holes not in alignment. Some were drilled in center several were offset. I redrilled several holes to line up and properly allow rods to slide in. One of the 2x4’s looked like a vehicle ran over it. I had to sand the black tire marks off. Phillips screws poor quality half stripped i had to use my own. Priced right. Good concept but very poor QC whoever allowed this to be boxed and shipped.

These look great and were easy to install. The only issue I saw was that the mounting brackets should be a little tighter against the 2X4 rails so that they don't distort when screwed down.

Plastic brackets should be metal, I had two crack during installation. Screws provided are really cheap, heads would crack off if too much tightening pressure was applied. One of the 2x4s warped overnight and I had to use a screw-clamp to get it to fit, so put this together upon removing the board straps.

Easy to assemble and install. I used screws to attach the top and bottom rail to the columns instead of the brackets and everything is very secure. Will be buying additional sections once my deck addition is finished.

We used these for the interior stairway railings. We clear polyurethaned them. They look excellent. The only issue we had was that we had a couple of rails that were checked (wood cracking) and a warped one. We had ordered a couple of extra boxes in anticipation of this. I will tell you though, for the money these are just beautiful.

I love the way these look. They feel very good to me. The surface finish was smooth. I had no warped boards. Plan on taking your time. The brackets are OK, but I found installing them properly very slow. I don't like the screws at an angle because it tends to move the bracket around when you snug it. Also the boards are narrower than the bracket, so you either tighten it up securely and bend your bracket (which looks bad) or leave it only tight on one side (looks better, not as strong). I worked out a technique after 4 panels and they're pretty quick after that but it was just slow. Plan on taking your time! I did not like the black screws it came with. The heads were all crooked and easy to strip the square drive out. I've literally driven thousands of screws on this project and these were the worst screw I used. Do not mix and match tops and bottoms. The holes are not drilled perfectly spaced from panel to panel. I

On my concrete 1955's house porch. So.......saying that.......... it's now 2019, and things don't stay perfectly plumb over the years. My FOUR rating is only because a way to tweek tlhose needed adjustments making the rail perfectly plumb could/might be/would have been incorporated into the connecting parts. OTHERWISE........I have received many compliments on the railing. Thank you.

The rails and balusters were easy to assemble and look great. The kits came with everything I needed to install them. The only issue I had was the long aluminum screws for the rail brackets easily stripped and/or broke. I used regular deck screws as a replacement. I am very pleased with the finished product.

Very unique look when assembled. I stained the railing to match the composite deck and it really turned out nice! Assembly is easy and quick!

At first, we were concerned about the wood being twisted and warped after reading some of the reviews about the product.. But all six kits we ordered were perfect. We were very pleased with the product, the ease of the installation, and especially overall look. Thank You DeckoRail !!

Looks Beautiful. Only problem was the handrail is twisted on some of them. We put it up the best we could in hopes that it will straighten out somewhat. Very easy to assemble, just take your time to center it between the posts.

I was satisfied with this product. High quality and great appearance once finished. Simple installation.

These rails finished out nice. I think the pre drilled holes for the bars should be a little deeper for more engagement into the wood to make it a little bit sturdier.

I purchased 6 sets of these railing kits but read the reviews first! I had expected them to come in quite rough from the other reviews and was surprised to see that they were INDEED milled out by an angry gnarly beaver! The lack of availability of cedar railings kind of forced my hand into buying these. I spent 3 full days sanding these in order to match my other work. I AM retired and DO have the time to do this but cannot recommend these unless you want to impress your High School shop teacher from 1968 with your sanding skills!

I was originally only looking to use this product for stair rails on my deck but liked them so much I bought rails for the entire deck. They look great and are easy to install.

Bought the stair rail kits along with the straight rails. Cut one of the components too short on the stair rail and ProWood will not sell a replacement component. Instead they want you to buy a complete kit. I will not be buying a replacement kit or any more of their products!

The wooden parts were supposed to be dried. Four of the boxes were too wet to paint. Because they were wet, they also warped. I hope that they can be straightened out as they dry. Also, the milling on the parts was not as expected. Lots of chatter. Took lots of sanding to make them presentable and free of splinters. I would not buy them again.

Too many knots in the railings.
