I am paying well over $9,000 for this system and first of they did not install the product correctly it is leaning over and about to cause more damage. The rigged a wire toegther by splicing it and only placing electrical tape over it when itnis located outside and that will not hold up safely at all. Have been having these issues for the past 3 months and still can’t get any help. They have the worst customer service ever i am so infuriated i made a huge mistake!! RAINSOFT IS ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE

My wife and I purchased this system and had it installed about 3 weeks ago. So far, it is working wonderfully. What I like most about this system besides the VERY clean water is that we were able to have it installed in our garage. This makes it very accessible to maintain and refill the salt without having to go outside to do the maintenance. We love the digital menu. It is very user friendly. Our only gripe is the app used to adjust the settings is a very poor app. It continuously disconnects from our phones and we have to manually adjust our setting at the main screen on the unit itself. Overall, the water is very nice all throughout the house. It tastes great and feels great on our skin. We no longer have any calcium build up in out sinks, showers, nor tubs. There has been ZERO issues on its functionality. It works great. We highly recommend this product, especially since it is detachable and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Biggest mistake I ever made, I currently have a $10,000 block of ice, no water in my house and when contacted the people that installed it I was basically told to put a blanket on it and wait. Don't waste your money, I was not told that this system would freeze, and to make matters worse, when we went to put a space heater in the shed. We discovered that the extension cord they installed from the house was not long enough so they put in a ten foot indoor extension cord to finish the connection

Bought it a year ago. Broke 2 times and third time now it’s been broke for 3 weeks and I’m having very bad attitude from customer service. Horrible experience and I do not recommend it to anyone. Thank you Home Depot

The warranty they claim to sell you is not what that sell you at all. My Airmaster Ultra System that is 1yr 6months old and is not powering on. Thats a 3000 dollar investment so I thought. Now its not working and the service amount is 205 dollars for 30 mins. Shady business I tell you.

Not all fixtures got tied in. they left all my paperwork in the salt tank and it all got ruined. within 2 weeks the salt backed up into my house and all my fixtures and we dont know how long we were drinking salt water until it got Very noticeable. after i called them they scheduled a technician for over a week from the day i called. Technician came over and set the system to "self clean" and left... no trouble shooting, no concern as to why the system was sending salt into the house.

I've had this system for 3 yrs and every year something has broken that's not covered under the manufacturer. Be ready to spend on average $300 a year on maintenance alone. Plus the 10k price tag. Not worth it at all.

Got it 7/15/23. Stopped working after 5 days, no one answered our questions as to why it stopped working. We got 3 different “solutions” from them including drilling holes in our ceiling and walls. They removed the system on 8/9/23 and tried charging us $1500. On 8/16/23, we discovered that THEIR faucet line was leaking underneath our sink, SOAKED the wood under our sink, and started leaking outside! These people are WILDLY negligent and selling faulty products. Buyer beware!

You will love it. It is so beneficial for your appliances. The softness it gives to your skin is nice. No need for jet dri in the dishwasher!

System is 5 star and has made a marked difference in the quality of water. However...we would rethink the use of the distributor/contractor due to poor follow-up.

I was never convinced and I still don’t notice a difference. My partner is the one who wanted this, hence the title. I’m NOT satisfied. RainSoft representatives kept coming at an hour, or even showing up at a time that was never consented to. At one time they showed up at 8pm and didn’t leave until nearly midnight, I have a toddler! This was uncalled for! My suggestion would be to have your representatives schedule an appropriate time to visit clients! I am not satisfied

It is going good so far, water quality is improved.

The taste of the water and everything that is made from the water is so good that I am absolutely amazed.

I recommend it is a life change ,great service great value

Initial use was too soft, kept the unit safe during -20 temps but brine tank filled with water, reversed seals to correct orientation and it "fixed" the problem. Used 40# of salt in 2 weeks, refilled and set the unit up for 80# I added. Working okay but I am concerned that install might not be up to par after the near overflow of the brine tank.

I’m loving the system. Everything is working out. Great thank you to rain soft and all the employees there Carlos and Elba and installer.

The water softener system works great. We see a big change in the quality of the water. Our laundry is much better. The whites are whiter, and do not need to use excessive soap. We get more out of cleaning products. There is no insecurity about the purity of our water. And, cooking is more enjoyable using pure water. Moreover, the maintenance is really easy. We only need to maintain salt level quarterly. The costs to refill the system is inexpensive. And, it is easy to add salt to the system. We totally recommend this water softener system for any homeowner.

Happy with this filtration treatment system. Full system with Chlorine tank due to the smelly well water. System cleans, treats and filters the well water, so far, very nice. Not sure on the longevity as yet though. For the high cost, hopefully I get some years out of the system and the membranes.

Does it's job, doesn't take up space in my garage like I thought. The water feels great on skin. The soap works better. With my house almost 3 years old its great that I was able to get this installed early enough to not have issues with my water as it was orignially, which would have done damage to my fixures and pipes over time if I had not gotten it.

It leaves sand in our faucets and appliances. I've had to disassemble the washer and dishwasher to clear it.

Love having the best water possible in my home and in my family. I would buy again and again but since it has a lifetime warranty. I don’t have to! :)

We've had this system for almost 2 years. The app that is supposed to sync to your phone or table "Rainsoft Remind" has never worked (read reviews on app store) and the system keeps having the salt cake.

Paid $7K for this in November 2020. We had a hard freeze in February - but the temp never even got down to zero degrees - the coldest it got was like 4 degrees maybe, and the freeze lasted for 4 days. We were 3 days without electricity, 3 days without running water - like everyone else in Texas - and we drained our water lines and cut off the water to the system. We ended up with 2 pipes broken under our house - not anywhere near the system, they were at the main. This being said, the broken part wasn't a pipe, or a valve, or any other fitting/fixture/part. The DANG TANKS BROKE! The tanks themselves busted at the top of the fiberglass, and the fiberglass started coming apart. The tanks are not made well, obviously. They are cheap, crappy materials and won't hold up. Their warranty covers NOTHING. Not parts, not labor, not ANYTHING except "manufacture's defect" - which they will never admit to. It's a sorry, overpriced product. They want me to pay to replace the tanks, at $250 each - and tell me "just bill your homeowner's insurance". So upset that I didn't research these con artists before buying their most expensive system....and THAT part is on me.

We had this system installed on a spontaneous decision after the raibsoft guy had practically hypnotized us talking for 3 hours. We got the system installed the next day and by then we had realized we were paying like triple what the stuff we were getting is worth. Sure it worked great, water was definately soft and theres no way we are going to stay with hard water now its so much different! You can get a whole house water softner for as cheap as $500 or you can go up to around $3000 for a twin tabk system, but thus one wouldve cost us about $7000. We utilized the 3 day period where you can cancel the contract and thankfully everything worked out and we wont be stuck paying for this overpriced system. Ive already purchased a reverse osmosis system for the sink for $200 and a laundry ozone generator for $300 and i plan to buy a water softner system in the $1000 range. Basically what im saying is sure there is nothing wrong with this system it works great, its just super overpriced!

Love my system, has changed my life. My home is cleaner, my skin is softer and my family's overall health has significantly improved since getting clean water. I cannot imagine living without my Rainsoft system. It's a huge peace of mind knowing I own the very best there is to offer in water treatment equipment! Highly recommended!
