Vacuum did a great job on water pickup. Did not know this order had the detachable blower (which I did not want/need) but my basement was flooding and I needed to use it right away.

It socks! But it doesn't Suck!
The blower on the dry/wet vac was very strong but I couldn't get the vacuum part to even suck up sand. I returned it the same afternoon I purchased it. Don't buy!

Power switch stuck, cannot turn on :(
Our favorite shop-vac patiently waited until past the return window to develop an issue where the power button gets stuck. It won't click into place in either the on or off mode, so now it's just stuck in the middle and we're unable to use the rest of the vacuum. Would love to know if there's a fix for this as it's otherwise a very nice tool!

Have 3 Only 1 Still Running 16 Gal 6.5HP NXT
The form, fit and function of these is great, the longevity is not. I had a 4 year old one finally give up the ghost, motor just quit. The <1 year old one, same issue but burning smell coming from the blower motor. The 3rd one is 2 months old and still running fine. What make the matter worse is that the blower assembly as a spare part is NOT available. This is unbelievable. So, I'm contemplating going away from Ridgid. My 20 year old Craftsman is still working fine. Make the blower assembly available as a spare part!
