This is the best shop vacuum I have ever bought.

Fits and works just fine with my old shop vac

Ridgid shop vacuums are the best around. I'm in the trades and Ridgid vacs are in every job site. I have used and abused mine for years and have done the same with its many accessories. This crevice tool is durable and high-quality. My only complaint is that it is a little thick/wide for some jobs. I'm sure there are multiple engineering & marketing reasons why, but a flatter inlet would be great.

Accessory fit and worked well

after comparing and making sure that this would fit my shop vac brought it home and it doesn't fit

I have gone through several of these attachments over the years and they always work well. They do become fragile when cold so be careful. this is not a short coming of the tool just a feature of the material used in these types of attachments

This extension piece I feel should have come with the vacuum. Regardless, it is decent quality and works fine.

In the summertime i use the blower motor to clean the grass clippings off my sidewalk and driveway. And all year long the shop vac works great for cleaning up all my sawdust and larger wood scraps that end up on the floor in my workshop. The pleated filter works great at reducing the amount of airborne dust recirculated back into my shop too.

Have had this for a few years. Have used it as a dust collector as an amateur woodworker, for emptying my pellet grill, cleaning my cars, and even to help extract water after my home flooded.

Works great on my new Craftsman vacuum.

Good quality, great price

I bought this 14 years ago, and a second on about 7 years ago. This is a great design, I have used this not only as a basic vacuum for the garage and car, but as a dust collector for my woodworking power tools, and a wet vac to clean up after a flood. I no longer need a ladder to clean my gutters, i added some pipe extensions and a 180 elbow and clean my gutters. (Works so well my neighbors borrow it to do theirs) I would definitely recommend this, The only issue (i am being picky here) is when i am emptying it, you do need to remove all the accessories in the holder and the top lid in order to flip it upside down to empty it (if your not using to optional bags (which are great too!). Otherwise I wish they offered this unit in a second smaller size so it could be brought with me on smaller jobs. (Like a backpack size blower/ vacuum unit.

It does not fit the rigid vac-does not suck well AT ALL. I should return it, but there was no alternative. At least Shop-Vac includes the tool

I bought this in April 2022 and used only a few times. It broke down this afternoon

While I like the shop vac, it is bulky and cumbersome. Good for garage cleaning.
