If you're experiencing a lack of suction or no suction, here are a few troubleshooting tips:

1. Check the bleeder valve on the hose to ensure it's closed for maximum suction.

2. Ensure that the powerhead is properly seated onto the drum.

3. Inspect both the filter and hose for any possible blockages.

We understand that the 3-gallon vac may not have met your expectations. However, 3-gallon is one of our smallest vacs. While most customers are satisfied with this model, please present your receipt and vac at your local Home Depot store within 90 days and they will replace it for you at their discretion. The vacuum you purchased is rated at 76 CFM suction power, but please keep in mind that there are several factors that can affect actual airflow, including turbulence in the hose and wands.
