The putty did not fill vinyl chip marks well. It need to dry a lot harder to be a vinyl filler.

The trick is to not need a whole lot of this stuff but if a craftsman is a master of hiding mistakes this stuff will definitely get the job done.

We are sorry to hear that this product did not work for you. This putty is designed for filling holes, chips, imperfections, small gaps in hardwood, laminate and vinyl products. The product is acrylic based but can be coated with urethane or similar finish to provide additional stain protection. The light grey wood putty may be mixed with our darker color Gray putty to achieve a more custom color if desired.

We used this putty for laminate trim. Easy to apply and a good color match. It does shrink a bit and we will need to reapply for a more even coverage.

Easy to apply, dries quickly. Color is not a perfect match but will be a good foundation to work from.

The color is closer to white than gray. Returned item to store

This is our light gray putty. It could also be mixed with our darker color PC7728 Gray to achieve a more custom color to the end user’s preference.

Had joints exposed in vinyl tile flooring. The choice of colors helped and the choice selected was an excellent match. The small opening for applying the putty worked well in getting the putty where it needed to be.

Perhaps the fail was a result of where we applied the product, but it cracked and fell out of the gap we were tryng to fill.
