I have a much larger set of Ryobi drill bits but needed a smaller set that I could keep in my "travel tool bag" that I keep in my truck. This set is perfect as it contains all the common sized bits that I will use regularly. The case is about the size of my old pencil case from years ago and maximizes the internal organization. The bits are held securely but easy enough to remove. The case itself clips shut. I've tossed the case around a bit and all the bits stay securely in place.

A simple test of a Ryobi drill bit versus another type of drill bit proved to me which of the two is better. I was drilling into some thin metal, and the Ryobi drill bit quickly drilled out the hole with ease, while the other I tried took about 4 times as long and I had to press down on it to get it to even get it done, which also bent the metal. I like the fact that there are extras of the bits that are more popular, so it is not just one of each. Especially since a lot of times I tend to misplace the most used drill bits and it always seems to be the one that I needed. It comes in a nice case that will hopefully help me to keep them from disappearing. And the bits were easy to take out and put back into the case, just snap them back in. I also like the sharper tip that helps to keep the bit from walking.

RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set (15-Piece). These drill bits are not too bad. I have used better, but I'm also a mechanic and we use a different quality drill bits. For there price point they are not bad. They do have good sizing in this kit. I really like the case they come in. I have a smaller set, but this set does have the better sizes.

This is the perfect size set of Drill Bits. RYOBI put the black oxide drills in a nice clear carrying case, easy to get into and use. The index is very nicely oriented, makes them easy to pick and see what you are getting. The case does have a shipping lock on the case so you have to remove that when you receive it. After that is removed the case closes and locks up easily and convent.

RYOBI comes through with some solid bits that are very durable. I needed to pre-drill holes on some 1x1 aluminum square tubing. The bit worked flawlessly over a dozen times and drilled right though as it did for the first one. No doubt it didnt loose its sharpness and the best part was that the bit didn't jump around. It started cutting through on contact. I like that they come in a nice case that can be secured and tossed into any tool bag or shelf. It helps with the organization and keeping everything where it should be. Perfection if you ask me. Definitely recommended!

RYOBI delivers a great drill bit kit that is compact. The case can fit anywhere and the bits stay secure in it. I got this kit because I needed a fine bit for pre-drilling holes on some shelving brackets that I hung in my garage. The bits worked perfectly with ease. With 15 options, this is a nice kit to have for any metal, wood and plastic drilling needs. I would recommend it easily.

This 25 piece set is round shank black oxide finish drill bits. There are multiple bits of a few of the most commonly used sizes. Bits 1/8 and larger have their size markings engraved/embedded in the round shank. These bits are sharp and drill easily / effectively. This is a great set of small drill bits. The bits fit securely in the sturdy plastic hinged latching case, and size markings are clearly marked on the case.

The RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank 25-Piece twist drill set has a nice assortment of sizes. There are multiples of the smaller sizes that are easy to break and more difficult to sharpen. The latch on the case requires two hands to open. Other than that, a nice set. I used the 3/16" and 13/64" twist drills yesterday to drill through some steel. The cut nice and made a helical piece of swarf while cutting.

This 25 piece set comes with a neat container that keeps them organized. The drill bit sizes are 1/16th up to 3/8th. They are advertised as lasting 3x longer and I am sure that they will as they are made by Ryobi. They stay in place when you start to drill and don't skitter across the wood. They are black oxide, tough and durable. They fit in any drill that takes round end drill bits. The size you need is easy to find in the compact storage case.

These are decent drill bits. They come in a nice plastic hinged case. They are very sharp and sport a 135° pilot point. The angle of the tip is what helps them to start drilling immediately. I needed them for metal, but they are good for wood, metal and plastic. I do alot of drilling, so I go through drill bits and I do like these. I'm satisfied with my choice. I would get these again.

We have nearly every Ryobi product made but when we saw these drill bits we just had to have them. As you can see by the photos you can drill wood, metal or plastic. Great size choices and we doubt they break like some of our other brands. Since a porch complete renovation is in our relatively near future we are really happy to get these drill bits to use with the Ryobi drill.

My review of the Ryobi black oxide round shank drill bit set. These bits stay sharp! I have used them 3 times as of this review.. No loss of sharpness even going through heavier steel. Very strong and no binding at all. Looking forward to using these on my upcoming projects like making my next bookcase. Excellent for everyday use. Really nice variety of sizes in this set.

This drill bit set contains 25 bits and comes in a compact and convenient carrying case. The case is very strong. Each bit is labeled with it's size (there are duplicate smaller sizes - perhaps because they would be more prone to break) and each snaps into place - it makes finding the right one very easy. As advertised, these bits drill on contact - no jumping around. Bear in mind these bits have a round shank.

The RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set (25-Piece) is a sound product. Great item to have since it has just about every drill bit you could ever need in a neat, convenient plastic case. The gritty details are that the black oxide drill bits make short work of wood, metal and plastic. The split heads get the drill points going in super-fast without walk or drifting. PLUS, the bits work like a champ in my drill press as well as my hand-held drills! The quality is there and the result is the cleanest drill holes with almost no residual drilled wood fibers or metal burs. The bits work just as well in either high speed or regular speed drilling applications. Even use mine in tile with minimal to no breakage (of tile). I see these bits lasting for a very long time. I use drill bits every day for long periods of time and can comfortably say Ryobi has a respectable product here. Every bit goes through product like a hot knife through butter! The convenient carry case is a real plus too since it is pocket/tool belt portable and you can easily read the measurements of the bits on site. Excellent product!

I got these to hang blinds for my daughter and they worked great. The small sizes are doubled so if they would happen to brake there is a second one to use. This set has more size verity so you can do more drilling without looking for other bits. The latch is a little hard to get use to other brands just slide this you just pull out a little bit to open.

Set comes in a plastic/vinyl index with a snap closure. It’s a little spacious for the number of bits included IMO but decent enough. The bits have a protective “oil” coating to prevent/reduce rusting. The set contains doubles on common 1/16” and 1/8” sizes which tend to break and are used often. The insert is actually movable so that one could put loose shorter bits in the bottom. Overall this is a great 2nd set to keep in my “go bucket” for those offsite projects.

For those interested in country of origin, these bits were made in Indonesia. I was looking for strong bits to use with some metal working projects I have lined up. I normally center punch a mark before drilling to avoid skipping. Wanted bits that would not skip all over and not require the center punch as this would be thin steel and easily defaced. Tried these bits on 3/4" and 2x4 using medium and large size bits. Ate through the wood quite easily. Tried on thin metal using smaller bit and it DID NOT SKIP as advertised. Very impressed. Case holds the bits well, removing and adding back very easy. All bits tilt out for easy access.

Drill bit test thru metal pole went quickly at high speed and slower at reduced speed with the drill bit. Nice clean hole. Same for 2x4 hole in the board with same bit going into the 2x4 then coming into the same hole from the side. Comes with a nice plastic case that takes a minute to open but holds the bits in place and flips out and up. It appears the holding position can be adjusted to several positions within the box but it could be that this is a multiple purpose box for other products as well as these drill bits.

Got tired of having to grab my big old drill index set. When all I needed was a small sized bit. So now drilling a quick pilot hole or a simple drill project got a whole lot easier. Pardon the pun! These drill bits have a 135 degree split point. Which minimizes drill walk. This drill bit set is intended for most materials. Wood, plastic and metal. And with a black oxide finish these drill bits will be around a long time. Overall a great value for another quality Ryobi product.

The Ryobi 25 piece drill bit set comes in a clamshell storage case with all the sizes marked so you can keep them together and just take the whole box with you and you will not drop any of them. I tried drilling on flat steel and the bit just took off and gave me a smooth hole, then I tried a piece of round exhaust pipe and the bit stayed on the mark and plunged through the pipe. I will keep these next to the drill press since they are black oxide and will work on any metal.

This Ryobi 15 pc set of round shank black oxide drill bits is a great replacement set for my old bits. After a while, I got tired of sharpening the old bits and looked for a good quality and value replacement set for “everyday use”. This Ryobi 15 pc set is apparently a new set/assortment. This set includes most commonly used bit sizes from 1/16” to 3/8” in a nice plastic carry case. There are two each of 1/16”, 1/8” and ¼” sizes. The drill bit slots are marked with sizes for easy reference and selection. These are round shank and will fit all non-hex drills. Ryobi represents that black oxide will last about 3 times longer than basic steel. The bits have 135 degree split points and drill on contact, which minimizes “walking” or “drift”. The bits are intended for wood, metal and plastic material I have tested them on wood and metal and they perform as advertised. The quality and price of this 15 pc set make it an excellent value.

The drill bits in the Ryobi Black Oxide 25-Piece Drill Bit Set seem adequate for most tasks. I used them to drill holes in wood, plastic & thin metal and had no issues. The bits are sharp and they drill quite well, but I am not certain as to how they will hold up. I was somewhat disappointed with the latch on the hard plastic storage case. A piece on the latch broke off as I was closing the case for the first time. The broken piece does NOT prevent the case from closing or latching. I don’t understand how the latch would open with the broken piece in place (see pictures for details). I am satisfied with the Ryobi drill bits and the hard plastic storage case. The latch on the storage case works well even though a small piece broke off. I would recommend the 25-Piece RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set to other DIYers.

Ryobi Drill Bit Set. 15 Pieces. Nice hard plastic storage case. The two layers of bits fold out together but the height difference between the two layers allow you to easily select the proper bit. Bit diameters are listed across the bottom. 1/16" to 3/8" diameter with multiples of some sizes. I like multiples of the small sizes. Those are the ones that usually break. These bits have a round shank and are black oxide coated. High speed steel. The bits did not wobble or move when entering either wood or steel and both make a clean hole. Always nice to have extra drill bits. When they get dull, I place them in a jar for future sharpening (all at the same time).

There are 25 bits in this Ryobi set. They are made of black oxide and look cool. But they are very sharp and went through metal and hard-treated wood with ease. The round shanks allow more precision when tightening in a drill vs. the hex-shaped shanks. The sized ranges from 1/16" to 3/8". I let my son use them the first time for a school Physics project. He did great. They fit in a Ryobi drill just fine. None of the bits broke which is a big deal for us.

I also like the fact this drill bit set has duplicate drill bits for the common sizes that break or wear out most often (1/16, 1/8, & 1/4 inch). I chose the RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit 25-Piece Set, because you can never have enough spare drill bits! I like that the set gives you extra's of the most commonly used sizes, and the they give you (3) 1/16, (2) 5/64, (2) 3/32, (2) 7/64, (3) 1/8, (1) 9/64, (1) 5/32, (1) 11/64, (2) 3/16, (1) 13/64, (1) 7/32, (1) 15/64, (3) 1/4, (1) 5/16 and (1) 3/8. I like the set has a fiction holding method for the drills vs the slide in method, so if the case falls to the floor they don't go flying! It is nice to have the snap closing lock to keep them in the case.

This is a 15 bit black oxide round shank bit set that includes 1/16 to 3/8. The locking case is solid and sturdy and will keep the bits together in your tool box. You do get a few doubles of more common sizes like 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4. These bits will drill through metal wood and plastic. Don’t use them on concrete! These are a welcome addition to my toolbox. I have a tendency to lose drillbits and having them all in a case like this is very helpful for me.

Another great quality product from Ryobi. The black oxide coating seems to keep the bits sharper longer. The two 1/16th and two 1/8" bits are a very handy plus. This complement of drill bits will satisfy the needs of most homeowners. The convenient plastic latchable case keeps things well organized. The only thing that would further complement this drill pack is a Ryobi drill driver.

The RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set (15-Piece) is the right size kit for me to pack in my "Crew Chief's" tool kit. My product arrived well packaged and undamaged. The "tilt out" feature of the bits is a nice touch-makes for easy access to picking the right bit for the job. The bits also have a nice sharp point on them to keep them in the center of the area for drilling a precise hole location. The case stays shut nicely as well which keeps the bits from falling out. This particular set will come in handy for making certain repairs on our dirt track car in emergency repair situations!! Great product Ryobi!!
