      I would expect that these drill bits, and all others of the same type or those with the hexagonal ends, are compatible with all electric drills ever made, and essentially all non-antique hand drills.

            Don't do it!
            I had 3 bits snap on me building a staircase trying to make pilot holes in two by fours. Anyway, they are garbage, and there's no refund, not that I want anything from this company. I will never buy Ryobi bits ever again. Absolute trash

              Only use twice and bits broke, avoid
              Two of the bits 7/64 only lasted for a couple of times of use in soft wood, one broke in half and the other one detached from the main holder while drilling, I called Ryobi's warranty department and they said this product DOES NOT HAVE ANY WARRANTY and offered absolutely no help at all Be aware when purchasing this set

                Weak drill bits
                I used these drill bits to drill through lite aluminum...all three bits that I used snapped in two. I was trying to save money with these, but it seems you would save more money with Milwaukee or Dewalt bits... buy once cry once. Lesson learned, don't buy these for what it said it would be good for.

                  Terrible Case
                  Went to open my brand new Ryobi drill bits and the clasp broke into multiple pieces on first use. What a complete disapointment. I think i'll return them before I start experiencing broken bits like other reviewers. No more Ryobi for me.

                    Cheap, Duplicate Bits, Hart to remove from box
                    I bought these to replace missing bits in another set. So, I removed them all at once. They are covered in grease that is hard to wash off my hands and impossible to remove from the box. There were 3 bits 1/4 inch and 2 that were 15/64. Three larger bits had no size marking. All were very hard to pull out of the box. I had to use a pair of pliers to remove the larger ones which scratched the metal terribly. Not a big deal but it shows how soft the metal is.

                      Good drill bits, cheap case. Not worth it.
                      I only used the drill bits a couple of times and they seemed OK. But the third time I opened the case, the plastic clasp just disintegrated. It appears to be made of cheap, brittle plastic. Returned the bits to the store and bought another brand. Can't believe Ryobi is cutting corners on the cases.

                          A must have
                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this drill bit set along with a drill, handsaw and sander a wedding gift over 9 years ago. Ryobi is an impressive brand that is long lasting and durable with our ever changing needs. It is the perfect beginners set for a new homeowner or married couple, it’s a must have! 9 years later we have expanded our collection but the drill, other tools and batteries have sustained extensive use and have won our loyalty. Now our Ryobi collection is quiet extensive and I recommend it to everyone I know.

                            Danger: light duty use only
                            Bits will break do not be fooled by the packaging. If you do decide to buy and use these bits protect yourself and wear protective gear. I would shell out a bit more money and get the Milwaukee bits they might cost more but cheaper than a trip to the hospital to remove a embedded broken ryobi drill bit

                              We needed some drill bits and headed over to the HOME DEPOT WEBSITE and found these RYOBI OXIDE DRILL BITS, which is a 15 piece drill set - this RYOBI OXIDE DRILL BIT came in a toolbox, which helps keep the drill bits organized and together, and which also has a wide variety of drill bits which can be used in metal plastic and wood applications - these RYOBI OXIDE DRILL BIT black oxide bits will outlast other plain steel bits and should last for a while - these RYOBI OXIDE DRILL BITS are of good quality and they are perfect for home or work
