Very nice unit! Rarely do you get what you expect when you order something online. This was an exception. Color was the same as shown on the website. Dimensions were true. This is a very "rich" looking piece of furniture. It was delivered in less than a week, was easy to put together, and looks great. I have had a lot of compliments. I live in the South so I will probably never use the heater function, but the fireplace flame is nice! I must say I am completely satisfied with this purchase!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Solid construction. It is very dark, almost black. I wasn't really expecting it to be sooo dark, but it's so beautiful I can get past it.

This is a beautiful piece. Easy for 2 people to put together (took less than an hour), looks like great quality, and the warmth of the electric fireplace is perfect! I was expecting it to be taller, but that's my own fault for not measuring. Love it!

the price was a little intimidating at first, but after i saw it completed and in my living room it was totally worth the price! the heat is amazing as well. the quality of the wood and surrounding pieces are very good as well. would totally recommend this product to anybody.

We are thrillled!!! Great product for the money spent....set up was easy. Couldnt be happier !!!!

however, the shipping was harsh and I expected a bit more quality. Although it looks fabulous in my living room, some of the superficial pieces in the front are held together with just a few finishing nails. It was no match for the harsh realities of shipping UPS. I would have gone for the option of in-store pick-up, but it was not available for this purchase. If it's an option for you I would strongly suggest you take them up on it! Shipping was expensive and damaging. I was able to piece it back together myself with carpenters glue (luckily) but Home Depot does offer replacement pieces if necessary at no additional cost. The room I have this piece in is somewhat of an open space - I haven't really needed to use the heater much (I'm in CA) but it's questionable at this point. The heat comes out of a very small area. Not too noisy but I wouldn't call it quiet either - just have to turn the TV up a bit. The "flame" is beautiful - very bright, deep orange in color - almost redish - and is functional without the heat - I don't think the description noted that? Assembly was pretty simple - easier than it initially looks! But it did require two and didn't take long at all. Ultimately I'm very happy about this piece - it really does look great. There were just a few bumps and expectations I had to get over.

I always rely on the reviews of others when purchasing from online. I was scared, because this didn't have one yet and it was pricier to take a risk. Long story short, I am so happy I did. This is a very beautiful piece and is true to the description provided (dimensions, etc...) I was so negative that I was expecting to hate it, thinking it would probably look cheep and flimsy. I am not sure how it was to put together, because someone did it for me, but I know it was quick ... about one to two hours. Anyway, I love it have had very nice compliments on it as well. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
