This entertainment center is beautiful. The walnut color is dark and rich. It's heavy furniture..well made and looks very expensive. It was packaged well for shipping, and arrived in perfect condition. The electric fireplace is really nice. It comes with a remote, which is handy, and the dying embers effect, where the logs gradually dim, just like real logs burning out, is a really cool feature. At 72" long, it's a substantial piece of furniture that helps fill up the room without being imposing. We have a 60" TV on it, and it manages the size with no problem. In the picture, we originally had a 42" tv on it, which also looked fine, and it left room on either side of the tv for decorating (see picture). We are very pleased with this entertainment center, and highly recommend it!!

I was very pleased with my media fireplace. I had a few issues with chips but Home Depot issue me a refund for the scratches and chips.

At first I was afraid of ordering this product online without being able to see it in person first. However, after browsing through the positive reviews I decided to take a chance. I am 100% happy and satisfied with this product. I have not one issue. It's a high quality product for a great price!! It's a great conversational piece, and it adds a warm cozy element to any space. Great Buy!!!

This product is very east to assemble and constructed very well. I spent several months researching these fireplaces before I decided on this one. Price was high on the list, but overall quality was the main reason for purchasing this fireplace. It looks fantastic in our family room and the comments keep coming. Thanks for a great quality product for the money!

Had shipped to store, package was in very good condition. No damage to stand. Instructions were very easy to follow. All parts were clearly marked. This assembly went together the best of any assembly I have ever done. I love the stand. A bit tricky getting components on shelves, but they do fit. Love the ambiance of the fireplace. Haven't actually used the heat function as it is spring. I did however turn it on and it seems to produce sufficient heat and not very loud. A great stand and fireplace at this price point. I would say if your thinking about it, go for it. I'm very pleased.

The product was exactly what I was looking for. The wood is rich in color and durable. Easy to put together and the fireplace has several options for lighting ambiance. I would recommend this to anyone. Love it!

It looks good however it is built terribly. The pre-screwed holes were too big and made it unstable. It was definatley not worth the month. When it arrived there were already scratches and missing paint on the product. I was very disappointed that the quality of the product was so low for such a high price.

It is a nice piece of furniture...my top had a split in it.. but don't let this be of a concern...I contacted real flame and they sent me a replacement piece without any hassle. Home Depot would only replace the whole item. As for the shelf pins, I bought some different ones online on ebay...shelfs fit snug now...great piece of furniture.

I'm in new home sales and know how much we sell an electronic fireplace for and those can't hold a torch to this fireplace which is much more substantial not to mention its sleek modern design. It took me about 2 hours to put it together from start to finish (this includes carrying individual loads of parts up to my third floor master bedroom. The shipment came in 2 pieces (one was very large/heavy) and was clearly labeled to be lifted by 2 people. This is puzzling considering it was delivered by a single UPS man... whom struggled to drag it to my front door. There wasn't any damage to the product, which was my only concern based on a few other reviews I read. I haven't experienced a tripped circuit yet and I have 4items plugged in at this location (fireplace, TV, FIOS set-top box and a lamp). I can't get over how impressive this piece looks once its completed and it compliments some of my other furniture which I purchased from Homegoods, beautifully. The ambience it provides is soft and sophisticated and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add a little something special to your home. I never write reviews, but this purchase really made me proud of my decision and its definitely review-worthy!

I bought this product because I have always wanted a fireplace. What a great addition to the living room!!! This has got to be one of my favorite worth the money upgrades to the house! It is just so relaxing to sit in there now! I was surprised by the amount of heat that it gives off. Very sturdy and high quality!

Works great looks even better. It really puts out a lot of heat.

General; Yes its MDF or possibly HDF fiber board as one reviewer noted, but the surfaces covered with a Veneer of real wood in the range of 3/16 or 1/8" thick. However some pieces like the base looks as if its much thinner veneer. and the inner shelves are vinyl covered (so be careful dragging stuff around on it) That said it a very nice piece of furniture. The wood trim and design looks excellent. It had better be for the price !. Expect to pick up one of those stain pens, the one we had was Dark Walnut, and the stain pen at HD store was an exact match. I had to touch up a few spots on the front, and the stain did not cover the back pieces very well, so I stained those. When its up against the wall you cant really see it, but i'm a stickler for that kind of stuff. Assembly; Was not bad at all. IT IS A VERY HEAVY PIECE OF FURNITURE YOU WILL NEED HELP MOVING IT ONCE ASSEMBLED (its around 120lbs assembled) pick up some furniture sliders and put under the base before assembling the rest. Because once assembled it would be very difficult to pick up and put the sliders under it. Be careful using a powered drill for assembly. Although I was careful, the large circular cam pieces that twist lock the posts to pull the pieces together, will strip out almost instantly using a powered drill (they are made of aluminum) . ONLY USE a hand screw driver. Also i had some trouble locking the pieces together. The height of the posts is important to get at the right height. I had quite a bit of trouble because my posts were at various heights.. it wasn't until i was throwing out the box that i found a card wedged in between the packing material at the bottom of the box, that instructed on how to set the post height correctly. Fireplace, Very Nice. At first I thought the glowing logs looked fake, then I happened to be watching a show with a bonfire... and guess what the logs glowed ! The flame is pretty realistic, it has a nice yellow orange color. Heat works excellent and it has a thermostat built in so it will maintain temp. The remote is a full featured remote, you can control everything from the remote, and it also has buttons so you can control from the fireplace as well. One word of caution. It is delivered UPS, and they are not really equipped to handle pieces this heavy. So the delivery guy was pretty upset, but delivered it into the house from 100 ft away where the truck was parked.

Came out of the box with about a 4 inch split in the top, front molding and a couple of other small dings. While annoying these could have been covered up with a little wood stain. Assembly quite easy. Brackets that hold shelving too small for the job. Shelves a bit too short. The combination made for rather loose fit. And then there was the pungent chemical smell. Had to abandon the living room. Hoped for overnight relief didn't happen. Had to open the house and blow it out with ceiling fans (in January). Finally gave up, dissembled & took to garage. Next day back to Home Depot for refund which we got ending a bad exprience with a good one.

Very reasonable price for such a high quality piece. Flame looks real, heat is not overwhelming at all but rather a comfortable heat. Looks very classy and more expensive then it costs. Much Much nicer then most other units i have seen. I would recommend it. Easy assembly and fast delivery.

Excellent product. Assembly is easy and product seems very durable. Visually it's an excellent compliment to any room. The fireplace let's off plenty of heat and the 'real flame' is the way to go. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a fireplace/media console combination. I searched high and low looking for this type of piece and after coming across the Fresno it was an easy decision.

Great color for our room. Heats up quickly. A 20'x40' room.

I use the lighted fire feature everyday and it actually heats well too! Only issue its that it weights so much and some of the holes didn't line up 100% while putting it together. Also remote came with a dead battery.

The reason for GOOD instead of Excellent is because of the pressed/manufactured wood. I wish they made these out of complete wood instead of the pre-fab China stuff but they don't at this price point, nor one that I could find that looked like this and had the same storage capability for AV equipment. I have ALOT of AV gear and pre-measured to ensure fitment. It's a tight squeeze for width on some but all fit. And I didn't want door on the sides so this fit the bill with the elegant look we wanted. In the end, a good piece for the money and looks like a much higher end piece of furniture than it really is. We are extremely happy.

The finish on the moldings was chipped during cutting and built as is. So the gaps are jagged and you see plain wood finish in the gaps of the black finish. I love the fireplace, style, and quality, but not the imperfections.

Super easy to put together, looks great. It has adjustable heat, and brightness of the light of fire. I am very pleased with the fireplace. I don't have any complaints.

Any one who say's this is difficult to put together is crazy. It took my 15 year old daughter and I a female less than an hour and a half to put it completely together and have it running. Hardest part of it was taking it out of the box. Looks great and for the price you can't beat it. Only one problem with it was on piece of trim had come lose so we glued it back down,

Our fireplace arrived tonight. Very disappointed. Looks cheap, cheap, cheap! Cheap. Taking it up to the store to return.

I love the media shelves. It is a great way to show off your family pictures. The Blue Ray fits well. But the Cable box is too big. I would have liked if this the color was light oak, But is looks great in walnut with the wide screen TV above it. The fireplace looks wonderful. It is almost like the real deal. I am very pleased. Also the price was better then the places I researched. It was easy to assemble and the quality is great. The delivery was quick as well. If I had it to do all over I would buy it again.

This fireplace fits perfectly under my big screen t.v. It looks great and works perfectly.

The quality of this entertainment center is excellent, better than expected. The wood is beautiful - the unit is more expensive looking in person. The fireplace insert is great, the flames look real and it can be used for ambiance or to heat the room. The assembly instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I put it together myself and had no trouble. The hardest part was moving it while in the carton as it is very heavy. Instructions for the insert are easy to follow and the remote is great. I would definitely buy a product from this manufacturer again. Shopping through HD is always a good idea.

It has a soft sound when the heater fan is turned on and is not loud. The fake flames are most enjoyable to just sit and look at even if it is 90 degrees outside!

We are really happy with this product. With only one defect of a chip in the front post, everything else was perfect. Instead of complaining we just used a touch up pen and you can't even notice. This item was also really easy to assembly. Just follow instructions. Took about two hours with only one person assembling it. Looks great!
