We've had our new home for 6 months. Our Rinnai works as advertised however the instant hot water is NOT instant. Especially at the opposite side of the home. Waisting water is sad. Trying to do dishes in cold water does not work. In our previous home we had a heat pump that worked amazing in delivering hot water instantly.

This product is very useful and energy saver. We never run out of hot water.

Although it takes a little longer to heat the water, it seems more efficient and saves on my gas bill!!

We absolutely love our tankless water heater. Our old tank heater was so old and corroded when we bought the house that our electric bill was outrageous. We went the tankless route because the cost to get one would be recouped quickly just off the electric savings. We were able to get a natural gas heater put in and even installed it outside so we gained additional room in the basement and didn't have to worry about venting. We love our tankless water heater, it's already paid for itself multiple times over in just a year and a half.

Love the unit; however, it makes a deep hum when in operation? Didn't know if this was normal, spoke to a rep at home show and was told that it shouldn't make any noise?

We are happy with the Rinnai so far, never had tankless before so early to say for long term.

My wife was always complaining about running out of hot water . Our water heater was about 18 years old so I replaced it with a Rinnai and now she has all the hot water she needs . It also reduced our gas bill in the summer by about 1/3rd. We are well pleased with our Rinnai.

We wanted to free up space in our new laundry room and removing the bulky hot water tank and replacing it with this unit that mounts on the wall was a big improvement in gaining additional floor space. It was easy to install for the installer too!
